Cozy two bedroom home situated in the beautiful, historic Collett Park neighborhood. Close proximity to Collett Park, Union Hospital, 12 Points Historic District, retail stores, grocery, pharmacy, and restaurants. Guests can enjoy all of the amenities of this 1000 square foot home . The living room space offers a Fire TV and modern sofa. This space also has a retro desk and chair for anyone who needs a work space. The two bedrooms are both very comfortable with a mixture of modern textiles and antique touches. The bathroom is accessed through either the larger bedroom or the kitchen. The kitchen contains a quaint eating area as well as most kitchenette type appliances. Access to the cottage is via keypad entry. There are two bedrooms within the cottage. One bedroom has a queen bed, while the other contains a double bed. The living room also has a sofa which can be made into an additional bed. The living room has a Fire TV as well as a desk/work space. There is also a full bathroom with a tub shower. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are supplied for guests. The kitchen has a range/oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, dishes, utensils, a table, and chairs. There is a back yard and a spacious screened in porch area as well. Laundry facilities are available on property to long term guests. We are nearby if needed but will allow you complete privacy. Collett Park is located just two blocks west and three blocks south. This is a wonderful family friendly spot with tennis, pickle ball, and a new futsol court. There is a wonderful playground, soccer goals, and an area to play horseshoes. In addition, there are shelters with charcoal grills for family hangouts or birthday parties. Maple Street Park is also nearby and includes a lake for fishing, a playground, and a nice walking/running/biking path around the lake. The home is also just blocks away from the historic Twelve Points area with several new businesses including Great Giorno’s restaurant, Ferm Fresh (with kombucha on tap), The Local Vinyl record store, a pie shop, an antique store, and a spice shop. There is a Kroger nearby if groceries need to be purchased, and a CVS in Twelve Points. Please park directly in front of the home on the street. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Feel free to walk to Collett Park or Twelve Points. You would want to drive to Kroger or some of the nearby restaurants. Guests have free street parking in front of the home.
