Miller's House, Cresswell Quay

Comfortable riverside country retreat. Miller's House is a 2 bed cottage located at Cresswell Mill, a collection of 3 properties created from a former water mill located on the Cresselly Estate. Sympathetically restored, Miller's House is a comfortable hideaway that is ideally suited to a small family or friends. The woodburning stove in the lounge gives a warm and atmospheric feel. Relaxing and unwinding after exploring the local area and Pembrokeshire is only a booking away. The space Miller's House and the neighbouring Miller's Cottage and Cresswell Mill were restored in 2021 and offer comfortable yet quirky accommodation. Miller's House and its sister properties are unique giving a homely balancing traditional and contemporary furnishings and fittings. The entrance opens into the dining areas period farmhouse table, with open area into a well appointed modern kitchen. The downstairs bathroom with shower over the bath, WC and sink and accessed from the kitchen. The sitting room, with wood burning stove, Smart TV and comfy sofa and chairs is the perfect space to unwind and relax. Upstairs to the bedrooms, both of which are light and airy despite being a traditional Pembrokeshire house. With views from the bedrooms out over the Cresswell River, an abundance of wildlife can often be seen, from kingfishers to herons, ducks and swans. Outside, there is a large paved terrace to the front of the property with outdoor dining table and chairs and charcoal barbeque. There is also a small lawn to keep 4 legged visitors happy! There is a large car park to the front of the property which is shared with the other properties. There is adequate parking for all the properties plus occasional extra guests. Other things to note Booking our other properties: Miller's House and Miller's Cottage are available to book together. For block bookings, do contact us for our latest offers. Currently the adjoining Cresswell Mill is long let and not available to holiday let. Length of stays: Depending on the time of year, we offer a minimum of 3 nights stay, for longer stays, please do contact us directly to check availability. Our preferred check in days are Saturday, if staying for a week, if it's a short stay then the day can be flexible. For stays of longer than a week, there is a separate weekly cleaning fee of £120 (i.e. if you book for a fortnight the extra amount to pay is £120, this will be billed via Airbnb as an extra). This ensures that you have a change of towels etc. Guests are allowed to bring a maximum of two dogs to stay. Dogs are permitted on the ground and first floor but must not be allowed into bedrooms or on the bedding or furniture. We currently do not charge extra for dogs, but depending on the size and breed of dog may levy extra fees, but this would be agreed before booking is confirmed. Please contact us for further information if you are bringing dogs. No dogs are to be left in the property unattended at any time unless they are kept in a dog crate. Do contact us if you have more than 2 dogs as we may be able to be flexible.
