Beautiful Dunfanaghy House with Sea Views
Description
Dunfanaghy has become a go-to destination on the North West coast and it is easy to see why. Located on the Wild Atlantic Way, Dunfanaghy overlooks Sheephaven Bay and is home to a bustling and vibrant family of shops, restaurants, cafes and of course, the infamous Irish pub. Whether you want to explore Donegal, surf, swim, play golf or take in the breathtaking scenery on a walk, or simply sit back and relax, Dunfanaghy has it all. The space 15 Sheephaven is a beautiful retreat overlooking the fishing port of Portnablagh, just a short drive or walk to Dunfanaghy itself. With three well appointed bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open plan living, kitchen and dining area, this home has everything you need for the perfect holiday. With little touches such as: games and puzzles for all ages; a fully stocked book shelf; WiFi and smart TV with Apple TV or Amazon Firestick; a dedicated work area on the mezzanine floor for those who need to check in with the office; a Nespresso coffee machine; fully stocked laundry room (as we all know the Irish weather can be unpredictable!); and outdoor dining and seating spaces to enjoy the view of the bay. Perfectly located between Dunfanaghy and Marblehill, there is lots to enjoy within a short walk or drive: golf at Dunfanaghy or Rosapenna; surfing; numerous walks for all, whether it is a stroll along one of the many gorgeous beaches, or a hike up the Derryveagh mountains; why not take a paddle board or canoe expedition from The Shandon Beach and then relax in the idyllic spa at the hotel? And then there are the pubs and restaurants, the music and the craic and most importantly, the warm welcome you receive from everyone you meet. There is no better place to spend your time. The broadband speed is very fast (92.2mbps download speed and 19.0mbps upload speed - tested in July 2021). Guest access The house has space for two cars at the front of the house and cars should be parked alongside and parallel to the house - one in front of living room window and one in front of bedroom window- so that cars can get past to the end cottage. Other things to note The house is located on a managed development so all homes share access to public areas. There is a private refuse area for household rubbish and recycling which is a godsend. There is also a public tap located in the driveway next door (number 16) - use this to rinse out your wetsuit.
