Snowgum Studio is a modern, well appointed one bedroom apartment-style space adjoined to an architecturally designed home. The studio is peacefully positioned halfway between the bustle of Katoomba and the world class natural beauty of the Jamison Valley and Katoomba Falls. This is the perfect base for a romantic getaway or a couples adventure retreat! The space Snowgum Studio has polished hardwood floorboards throughout, a comfortable living space, fully equipped kitchen, 55 inch smart TV and a sunny north facing deck. We have recently installed a powerful 5Kw split system reverse cycle air conditioner to keep you cozy warm in winter and to give you cool respite during summer. The single bedroom is a generous size with a comfortable queen sized bed. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need to create beautiful meals with ease. Eco Store hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner is provided for your use and convenience when staying with us. All linen and towels are included during your stay. Snowgum Studio is a convenient 10 minute walk to the iconic Prince Henry walk and Scenic World. A bushwalking book is provided for you to explore the countless beautiful nature trails in Katoomba and surrounds. There are endless world-class adventures to have including rock-climbing, canyoning, mountain biking and trail running all within a 15km radius. For those looking for a more relaxing time in the Blue Mountains, the Studio is an easy 10 minute stroll to the Katoomba Village. The town centre hosts a wonderful mix of art galleries, antique stores, retail shops and abundant good quality cafes and restaurants. The Blue Mountains Cultural Centre must also not be missed! Stroll to town and have delicious coffee and breakfast at one of the numerous local cafes, go on a scenic cruise along Cliff Drive and finish the day with some retail therapy and delicious food in Leura. The next day, splurge and treat yourself to a day spa, a popular “Black Cockatoo” pastry and locally brewed award winning beer at “Mountains Culture Beer Co”. We believe you will thoroughly enjoy your stay in this beautifully appointed studio and we look forward to sharing our mountains home with you. The Studio has a private driveway that is accessed from Sherman Avenue. The primary residence is accessed by an alternative driveway off Loftus Street. The primary residence may also be occupied at the time of your stay. The two residences do not share any spaces or any of the same walls so privacy and noise will never be a problem. Each residence also has its own seperate outdoor deck and yard area. Guest access The Studio has its own private driveway that is accessed via Sherman Avenue. There is a second driveway that is accessed from Loftus Street that is for the primary residence.
