The Stag Lodge in Bont Dolgadfan with hot tub.

Beautiful quirky log cabin located in stunning Mid Wales. We are situated a short walk from the tiny village of Bont Dolgadfan amidst the glorious mountains surrounded by stunning views. There is a spacious hot tub that you can choose to book for your sole use at an extra cost of £25 per night, please let us know if you would like it prepared:-) Remember to bring robes to use outside, we only supply towels for the bathroom and request they are not taken outside. Please read all the info 👍 The space We think you will pretty much love everything about The Stag House….It’s light and airy with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Plenty of seating outside on the decking areas to relax or sit and eat a meal you have prepared in the fully fitted modern kitchen while taking in the lovely views. Sit back and enjoy the 65 inch smart TV to watch Netflix ( account in place for you to use) or pop a DVD into the wall mounted smart TV while you prepare food, lots of DVDs supplied to choose from. PLEASE NOTE, we do not allow any fire sticks or fobs to be put into the TV, it will take the internet out on the whole of the property. The bedroom has a double bed with french doors that open out onto the rear raised decking area, the perfect place for a morning coffee. (Please note, there is a step down into this bedroom) In the bedroom cupboard there is a Tv and DVD player for you to watch a favourite film too. There is a totally private hot tub which can be booked for your sole use for £25 per night …. please let us know prior to your arrival so it can be prepared ready for you. Unfortunately we can not accommodate guests that are using fake tans. Remember to bring robes to use as we only supply towels for the bathroom and kindly ask that they are not taken outside. You have the whole cabin for your stay with the added support from us should you need it. Door opens out onto the rear decking area ( please note there is a step from the lounge area onto the decking ) We try to provide everything you need for your stay, please let us know if there’s anything missing, anything we can do better or anything that needs to change to make your stay better…. don’t be shy, as guests, you are the best person to receive feedback from. We try to be as environmentally friendly as possible and ask guests to recycle cardboards/ glass/ tins and plastics in the box’s supplied at the side of the cabin by the wheelie bin. Please turn off the lights and TV before going out or retiring for the night…. we are trying our best with the huge increases in electricity to keep our prices affordable but this can only happen with our guests being mindful. The wifi is really good but mobile signal is pretty poor so wifi calling is the best option. Please note, we are unable to accommodate pets. We are rural, local Spa shop in Carno, roughly 7 miles away. Tesco& Morrisons etc in Newtown approx 17 miles away or a Co op in Machynlleth around 14 miles away…. remember to bring what you need with you, or we are happy to take delivery of an order prior to your arrival and have it packed away safely for when you check in. We are happy to offer any advice on good eating establishments, just drop us a message. The Stag only opened mid September 21 so please feel free to look at our feed back for our smaller one bedroom lodge, over 1200 reviews just from Airbandb alone, we have lots of returning guests :-) We all know that you can’t please all the people all the time but we do try our very best to provide you with everything you need for your stay and to be as comfortable as possible while you are here, you may spot the odd cobweb / dust or spider, as try as we may, they appear like magic, the joys of log burners, patio doors and living in the country side but still part of the charm… if you are not happy with the odd spider or web, you are probably best not to book to stay with us, this is country living people. We haven’t entered “Four in a bed” we are not a 5* Hotel, just want guests to feel at home, relaxed and happy.Unlike many properties, we do not charge a cleaning fee, please help us to be able to continue to do this by leaving everything as you found it. The lodge is really not suitable for infants . Guest access Park your car right outside the property on a level driveway. Other things to note We love where we live and want to share our home with others, we do live on the property and have another smaller loge that we welcome guests to also. We are respectful of our guests and give them space and privacy to enjoy their stay with us. There is a spacious hot tub that you can book at an extra £25 per night…. this for example on a one night booking is use of the hot tub from check in at 1600hrs to midnight, then from 0600 to check out at 1000 a total use of 12 hours. For anything over one night, usage is again from check in to midnight then 0600 to midnight then 0600 to check out at 1000, meaning that staying longer than one night you have usage of 18 hours each day to use the tub. So everyone is aware, we have Great Dane dogs,horses,goats,sheep, turkeys and chickens that live with us :-) they do actually bark, bleat and neigh. We are situated in the Mach Loop so we have a number of very low flying jets fly overhead. As we are in a valley, sound is amplified greatly, with the jets running on the hot tub, you maybe unaware of how loud you are playing your music and how loud you are shouting…. please be mindful of this. There is a wood burner in the property should you wish to use it, we can supply logs at £7 per basket. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer earlier checkins/ later checkouts, this is purely down to time and the amount of work needed to prepare the hot tub and clean the lodges ready for the next guests….sorry :-)
