Cottage in Prince Edward

Bear's Cabin is a special space located on Sheba's Island, a peninsula overlooking the historic Sandbanks on West Lake. Originally built in the 60's, we renovated it inside out to create a modern cabin to share with guests visiting this beautiful place that is Prince Edward County. This is a lakefront property next to a larger house where your host lives all seasons. We are in the waiting line for our STA license - in the meantime we are taking reservations for the 2023 summer season. The space Vacationers will have the full cabin entirely to themselves. The cabin is winterized and comfortable all year round. With options of sleeping upstairs on a new queen mattress or below the loft on high quality modular sofas , the tiny house is flexible and comfortable. 2-3 adults and/or groups up to 4 including kids are best suited in the small space, all are welcome. Guest access Guests have access to the lakefront with dock and waterfront deck, campfire among oak trees, a full boat house terrace with picnic table and loungers, parking, and front lawn. All are welcome to take from the cedar garden boxes too! Other things to note Coffee and tea are supplied as well as a basic variety of spices. Olive oil and balsamic vinegar are also complimentary. A full set of dishes, cookware, dining utensils and glassware are there for you. The campfire is a wonderful place to gather, guests can purchase firewood on county roads, grocery and convenience stores. Fires can go until 11PM to respect the property and neighbours.
