Nestled comfortably on an acre along Onancock Creek, this quiet one-room guest house boasts a full kitchen, Serta queen size bed, TV/internet, and incredible scenery of the creek. Spend a weekend exploring historic Onancock, with its unique shops and variety of cuisine, or rent kayaks in town for a relaxing cruise on the creek to watch the sunset over the Chesapeake Bay. The space The house is perfect for couples looking for a getaway to a quiet town along the water or for guests visiting family or just passing through. You have sole access to the guest house and don't necessarily have to cross paths with the owners at all (unless you want)! You can wake up and look out the window to see sailboats and yachts mooring for the night near the headwaters of Onancock Creek. Unfortunately, we do not allow pets. The guest house has a shared backyard with our house, so you technically walk through our backyard to the cottage entrance. We regularly use our yard also. If you are looking for no interaction with the hosts at all, this may not be the best place for you. Guest access Guests have full access to the guest house, which has all amenities for living/cooking. You're welcome to fish off the dock to the right of the boathouse dock. Other things to note Cottage is 320 sq ft. The shower is pretty small. If you’re a bigger person, this may bother you.
