A well presented 1 bedroom "teeny-tiny" coastal bungalow enjoying an elevated position overlooking a wooded valley (glen) in the village of Little Haven with its lovely beach & 3 pubs just 3 mins walk away. 6 The Glen is a compact but well designed holiday home, perfect for couples wanting to get away from it all and a great base for exploring the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, nearby Broad Haven (15 min walk when the tide is out), county town of Haverfordwest & St. Davids the UK's smallest city. The space Our bungalow is a compact but well-designed and well-presented 1 bedroom property enjoying an elevated and quiet position overlooking a wooded valley (glen) in the village of Little Haven, part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It is a great romantic or get-away-from-it-all retreat aimed to create a relaxing base to explore the rugged beauty of Pembrokeshire, the Pembrokeshire coastal path or just relax and enjoy the village and local beaches. Furnished as a home from home, this holiday bungalow is in a secluded area of the village and just a short walk from the village's three pubs, small cafe and unique seafood takeaway café & shop. Accommodation comprises: You enter the property through a stable-door into a light open plan lounge and dining area with a good-sized dining table that seats 4 people and a lovely 3-seater corner sofa, smart HD television, Blu-ray / DVD player and a Bluetooth speaker. There is also an electrical point with 2 USB sockets and good WiFi throughout the property for your convenience. The compact bathroom has a walk-in shower, small hand basin, demisting mirror and WC. The kitchen with a sunny aspect most of the day, contains an electric oven and hob with overhead extractor hood, microwave, kettle, Filter coffee machine, toaster, sink, built-in fridge with small freezer compartment and lots of cupboard space and storage. The bedroom at the rear of the property has a view of the wooded bank with a double bed, bedside lights and a triple wardrobe. There are also electrical points with USB sockets for your convenience. Outside area: There is a boot box by the front door for storing your wellies and walking boots etc. There is a patio to the front of the property with seating (bench cushions are in the outbuilding hanging on the door) and a table with lovely views of the glen and the village along with a wide range of local wild birds who often come to visit! Outside is access to a small, attached outbuilding with a washing machine and a shower for washing down wetsuits (or the dog) as well as storing the provided bench cushions, outdoor chairs, loungers and sun parasol for our guest's use at the property. The key to open the outbuilding door is in the whale on the windowsill by the front door. The bungalow is approached up a private drive with an allocated parking space (no.6). Additional information: Electric heating, hot water and Wi-Fi are included in the price. Bed linen and towels are provided but please provide your own beach towels. Due to access via steep steps, the property is not suitable for those with mobility problems. No smoking inside the property please. The location: The village is set within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and has a wonderful promenade to The Point and Sheep-Dip Bay which is fantastic for watching the sea, distant ships and the famous sunsets! Little Haven really is a wonderfully unique location providing the perfect location for a romantic getaway or a family holiday by the sea with plenty to offer all ages. Little Haven is a beautiful uncommercialised seaside village to stay in and explore at any time of the year. It is very popular with families in the summer. The beach is lovely and clean, with a great sandy area when the tide is out. It is a great place for families and couples to relax and to play, with lots of rock pools to explore and the sea to enjoy, providing hours of fun for the whole family. At low tide you can walk along the beach to nearby Broad Haven, exploring the numerous rock pools and expansive neighbouring beach (called Settlands Bay and only accessible at low tides) along the way; it's about 15 mins walk but please be careful of the tides! Alternatively, it's just a short 5-minute drive (15 min walk) by road. Broad Haven is a great coastal town with a large beach and several pubs, restaurants, fish and chip shop and a well-stocked mini market / post office. Broad Haven is very popular with water sports enthusiasts (there's a great surf and water sports shop on the front) and it is an ideal location for those of you who want to try your hand at surfing, kitesurfing, kayaking, body boarding, windsurfing or just splashing about in the waves! In summer part of the beach is patrolled by RNLI lifeguards for extra safety. Guest access Parking is close to the property with a private allocated parking space (no.6). All the amenities within the village are within walking distance and the nearest town (Broad Haven) is 15min walk or 5 min drive away for the nearest convenience store and more amenities. Other things to note Due to access via numerous steps (~32) the property is unsuitable for people with limited mobility.
