Gîte de l'Ane Papillon, near Sarlat, Rocamadour

Peaceful accommodation and rural environment, relaxing stay guaranteed. Very good location for sightseeing, as it is between Quercy and Périgord, close to the most beautiful sites: Gourdon, Sarlat, Rocamadour, Domme, Daglan, Grottes de Cougnac, Figeac... Some shops easily accessible by car (Le Vigan: 5 km), the small town of Gourdon with all types of shops 8 km away (beautiful medieval city), and plenty of trails around the property for magical walks. Non-PRM accommodation The space The Ane Papillon gîte was born from the renovation of an old stone barn where the little donkey Papillon lived. Its hook is still there, on the 30 m2 outdoor terrace where you can have lunch in the shade of the parasol. On the ground floor, a large living room, with dining room and open-plan kitchen. The bathroom with double sink, toilet and walk-in shower is in a corner of the room. Upstairs, 3 beautiful stone bedrooms under the roofs, parquet floor, velux and small toilet and sink area. Guest access You will have private access to every room in the cottage, and to its outdoor terrace. You will share (if the small Olivier cottage is rented (2/4 people), the parking, the pool, and the large meadow all around. Games are at your disposal: badminton rackets, pétanque balls, scrabble, pencils and sketchbooks, board games... and lots of books, comics for all ages. Other things to note As owners, we live on site, in the last house at the back of the property. Each building is independent and not overlooked. We are available to welcome you, chat, inform you, but not to monitor you or bother you. :) We are a cool, friendly, honest, upstanding, and respectful couple.
