You will feel at home in our beautiful bungalow. It is located in a quiet courtyard with a large, covered terrace, partly with a glass roof and a beautiful flower bed, just three tram stops from the Krämerbrücke, a special sight in the centre of the old town. If you are travelling by car, you can park right next to the entrance. The space We look forward to welcoming you to our holiday home ‘Auszeit Erfurt’. The bungalow was built barrier-free and family-friendly in 2021 and is located in a quiet courtyard. The south-facing terrace in front of the house is covered, with a glass roof in the centre. So you can make yourself comfortable on the terrace protected from the weather. Three steps lead from the car park in front of the bungalow to the house entrance and the large terrace. There is also a 1 metre wide ramp next to the staircase. As you enter the house, you come to the entrance area with cloakroom. The entrance area leads to a barrier-free shower room. This is followed by a smaller bedroom with a 140 x 200 cm queen-size bed. In the middle area of the bungalow is the spacious, loft-like living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen (sink, oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, crockery, cooking utensils, spices...) that invites you to cook. The dining area offers space for 6 people. The pent roof with exposed roof trusses results in a generous room height of 3 - 4.5 metres. A sliding door leads from the living room to the covered terrace with outdoor furniture in rattan look (2-seater sofa + 2 armchairs). The living and dining room leads to another bedroom with a workstation and box-spring bed, as well as a sleeping gallery. Both beds are 180 x 200 cm. There are several sockets with USB ports. There is a flat-screen TV with satellite reception and Netflix in the living room. Free WiFi is available in the accommodation. The stylish interior harmonises with the light-coloured floor tiles in a natural stone look. Underfloor heating is available in all rooms and there is also a towel radiator in the bathroom. The living rooms and bedrooms can be atmospherically lit with indirect ambient lighting. The smoking area is located on the covered terrace. There are 3 men's bicycles and 3 women's bicycles available for hire for €5 per bike per day. Billing takes place on site. Please let us know before arrival if you would like to hire bikes so that they can be provided. There is a room with a washing machine and tumble dryer in the main building, which can be used by prior arrangement. Please let us know before arrival if you would like to use this room. Guest access You can park free of charge in the courtyard right next to the entrance to the house. The entire flat is at your free disposal. Only a small cupboard with private contents is locked. Our holiday home ‘Auszeit Erfurt’ is located in a street parallel to Magdeburger Allee, with very good transport connections. In the immediate vicinity there are shops for the supply of daily necessities. For example, Rewe and Lidl are just a 5-minute walk away. The tram stop Lutherkirche/SWE is about 5 minutes away. Lines 1 and 5 take you from there to the tram stop ‘Stadtmuseum/Kaisersaal’ in 5 minutes and from there you can walk to the Krämerbrücke in 3 minutes. There you are already in the centre of the old town with its many sights. The open-air swimming pool at Nordpark and the Gera river are only two minutes away by bike and the Nordstrand leisure and recreation park with lido, sand and meadow areas, water ski facility, beach volleyball court etc. is only 2.6 km away. As part of the BUGA, a large area along the Gera was redesigned as a landscape garden, with several interesting playgrounds, barbecue areas, sunbathing areas along the Gera and a small artificial lake with a fountain and café. This area begins approx. 6 minutes' walk from the holiday home and is ideal for a walk. The ‘Nordwand’ climbing hall and the largest indoor kart track in Thuringia (Kart Centre Erfurt, An d. Lache 43, Erfurt) are just 2 km from our holiday home Other things to note The accommodation tax is already included in the booking price! (valid for bookings from 19.09.2024) From 01.01.2024, the city of Erfurt will levy an accommodation tax for private and business-related overnight stays. This amounts to 5% of the accommodation price and is included in the total price. For many hosts, the accommodation tax is payable on site.
