The Retreat - between Southwold and Aldeburgh

As the name suggests, The Retreat is the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. The bungalow is ideal for families, nature lovers, classical music/art enthusiasts, star-gazers or groups of friends looking for a peaceful place to get together. The charming village of Westleton is almost exactly midway between the popular holiday destinations of Southwold and Aldeburgh and boasts 2 excellent pubs, a village green, shop, cafe, large play park and has footpaths leading to Dunwich Heath. The space The bungalow sleeps 8 guests comfortably and there is also a double sofa bed in the front room for 2 additional guests (which can be negotiated on enquiry). FOR SMALLER GROUPS (1 - 6 people) a lower rate can also be negotiated on enquiry. Please note that on Sundays, CHECK OUT time will be 3.00pm. The Retreat sits within 1.5 acres of land so there is plenty of outdoor space, including a patio-seating area, BBQ, fire pit, fruit trees and 3 large lawns where children can play and adults can relax. The Retreat has a spacious, open-plan and well-equipped kitchen and dining area, which has a hot and (for the summer) cool air-to-air pump as well as storage heaters. There is a cosy front room with Smart TV, DVD player and the option of an open fire for those chillier evenings. There are 2 bathrooms, both with a toilet and shower (one with a bath as well). In addition, there are plenty of toys, games, jigsaw puzzles, books and DVDs for guests to enjoy during their stay.
