The River Barn - Cosy Riverside Annex in Braunton

The River Barn is a stylish open planned annex set in a peaceful location of Braunton. The annex is located right next to our home and provides a unique private space offering bed and DIY breakfast facilities for staying guests. Backing on to the River Caen and overlooking the beautiful 13th Century Parish Church, the Barn is just a short 5 minute walk away from Braunton's Village centre and North Devon's 4 best surfing beaches are all within a short drive away (3-7 miles). The space The River Barn is located on one level (accessed via a staircase) and comfortably accommodates up to 2 persons in one studio space (unsuitable for under 12s and those less able-bodied due to staircase and steps upon entering). The upstairs features a bright open-planned living, dining and sleeping space. The bedroom features a king size bed, bedside tables and table lamps, a hanging rail, a leather chair, a flat screen TV with a Roku box (so you can watch Netflix, Catch up TV etc.) and portable heater. The living/dining area features a flat screen TV, leather sofa & chairs, a coffee table, retro dining table and a stylish kitchenette area. The kitchen area is modernised and well-equipped - a great little space to enjoy breakfast or use as a workspace with its dining table and chairs. Appliances include; 2 ring hob, air fryer, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and fridge with freezer compartment. Although there is no oven, there are enough appliances to rustle up a tasty bit of food! The Velux windows allow sunlight to stream in from both East and West elevations, capturing both morning & evening sun and offers beautiful views of the River & Church. The shower room features a power shower, WC, small wash basin, illuminated mirror and towel rail. There is an additional toilet downstairs that guests are also more than welcome to use. All bed linen and bath towels will also be provided for guests. Outside amenities include off street private parking for one vehicle and washing facilities for wetsuits etc (hose and water butt) .
