Welcome to Sherwood Hollow! This completely refurbished retreat is a large 1200 square foot downstairs suite in our 1960's home. This spacious area has a large living room, eat-in kitchen, and spacious bedroom. The unit is private and completely closed off from the upstairs. Our home is located just a short walk from Old Town Sherwood and beautiful Stella Olsen park. The space Sherwood Hollow is a large one bedroom apartment with a full-size kitchen stocked with the cooking utensils you'll need. You'll enter through a large mudroom in which to unload your shoes and coats. The living room is complete with a large comfy sofa for watching TV, or gazing at a warm fire in the fireplace, a dining/puzzle/game table, desk, and a twin daybed that I can extend into a king for extra guests. The kitchen has a full-size 4 burner gas oven, refrigerator, coffee corner and a dining table, as well as a clothes washer and dryer. The large bedroom boasts a queen size bed, dresser, cozy reading area and large walk-in closet. We've stocked this retreat with rainy day activities such as games, puzzles, movies and books for your enjoyment. All the furnishings and appliances are spic and span - just for you! Guest access You may use the entire downstairs unit. Other things to note Please note that you will hear foot steps and some noise from the upstairs. We have added insulation between the floors, but this is a 1960s home and sound still carries. We will do our best to be respectful!
