"Thistles" -Cosy 1 bedroom cottage with log burner

Refitted and modernised specifically for providing a cosy and welcoming cottage. The cottage is attached to our home (though completely separate) so we are available for help or information, while giving you space and privacy. The garden is enclosed so secure for dogs, and guests have access to 4 acres of fields to exercise. There is ample off-road parking. We are perfectly situated for exploring Pembrokeshire's many beautiful beaches, coastal walks and attractions. Amenities all within 2 miles The space Refitted with guest comfort as top priority. The cottage has a spacious lounge with 2 comfy armchairs and a log burner for cosy peaceful evenings. Listen to some music by lamplight, watch the TV with FreeSat, or watch a film on the BluRay player. There will be a basket of logs and kindling, along with firelighters, provided, with more logs available (no specific charge but there is an honesty box for any donations towards the cost of the logs). There is a dining table for 4, where you will find your welcome tray (including homemade cake) on your arrival. The en-suite bedroom has a double bed, and is fitted out with a large amount of clothing storage. All bed linen and towels are supplied, and for stays of 10 days or longer, fresh linen and towels will be offered. We have a travel cot and highchair available, along with one set of cot bedding. The bathroom boasts a large , powerful shower, and includes plenty of storage for all your toiletries, with plenty of room to hang all your towels. The galley-style kitchen is fully equipped, with oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. There is plenty of cupboard space. Guests also have access to additional freezers. The cottage is on one level, with one step to access the front door. The garden is for your own use, and is fenced to keep any visiting dogs safe. There is a lawn area (with 3 steps to access) and a hard-standing area with outside table and chairs. We welcome dogs, at no extra charge, up to 2. We have 4 acres of fields which guests are more than welcome to use, shared with ourselves, and sometimes with some sheep. Visit our free-range hens as you walk the fields. There is a storeroom which can be used for storing pushbikes, fishing tackle, or any other kit you may wish to bring. Guest access There is ample off-road parking, several cars can be catered for. Guests have their own entrance and garden, with lawn and patio area, where table and chairs are provided. Supermarkets, petrol stations and shops are all within 2 miles, and are easy to drive to. Other things to note The village pub, The Brewery Inn, is well known throughout the area for its wonderful menu, so it is recommended to book before your stay. For Covid safety, we have committed to completing an enhanced clean. The property is thoroughly cleaned, and all high touch hard and soft surfaces are sanitised. The property will also be thoroughly aired. Due to the time taken, we ask guests to checkout by 10am. Some non-essential items which are deemed high touch have been removed, but we want to strike a balance for our guests between safety and comfort, so these items remain "available on request" so you can have what you need for a comfortable stay safe in the knowledge that these items are contamination free. Our Welcome Book and complimentary items remain for your use, we have more than one set of these, and a fresh set is put out on each changeover, so you can be assured these items have not been touched for a minimum of 3 days. We do still provide books/maps/leaflets/DVDs. These are all in a sideboard together, with a clear sign to say that it is not practical to sanitise these items but they have been left for your use at your own discretion, maintaining your own good hygiene protocols.
