The screened in porch is the perfect place to have morning coffee. The property includes a private dock (in season), sandy beach, outside lounging spaces, and a cozy fire pit. In winter, when the lake freezes, you can enjoy ice fishing, walks, or skating. The property is in close proximity to Elkhart Lake and world class golf courses. The space Wind down the long, private drive to reach our cottage, which is a very private location on the lake. The cottage is situated on a hill overlooking the island on Cedar Lake. You will have to climb stairs to access the property, but there is a handrail from the parking spaces to the front door. There are many outdoor spaces to relax and play. The site includes kayaks, paddle boards, a canoe, and a lily pad. We have chairs, loungers, a fire pit, and grill and several outside games, such as cornhole and can jam, for your convenience. Use our dock for fishing, swimming, and relaxing right by the lake. Turn on the stringy lights for night time ambiance. The cottage has three bedrooms and three and a half baths. There are two living room spaces with television and board games. The kitchen is fully equipped for all of your cooking needs. Whether you're coming for a quiet couples weekend, with the family, or a group of girls or guys, Cedar Cottage will be a great place to stay. Guest access You will have full access to Cedar Lake, which is wonderful in summer as well as winter (when the lake freezes). In the summer months, you will have access to our large pier where there is comfortable seating so you can enjoy being right on the lake. Other things to note We do not have trash service. Please leave all trash in the container at the top of the stairs. We will come and take care of your trash. Also, we live on a private drive with parking for up to 4 cars. Please use our parking spots only to turn around and not our neighbors parking spaces. Thank you.
