Description
A wonderful room sitting atop the Lodge on the second floor. Must be able to go up a stairway to get to this room. Named after the Alpine Tunnel being the first tunnel constructed through the Continental Divide in Colorado. It was completed in 1882, abandoned in 1910 and it saw lots of activity during the mining heyday, which brought many folks through Pitkin. 1 Queen sleeper sofa 1 Full over Full Bunk 1 Twin over Twin Bunk The space Alpine Loft is apartment 3 of the lodge, you will walk up a set of stairs to a balcony to access your room. Other things to note We have live music on Friday evenings from 6-9pm on the backyard portion of the lodge, accessible to guests only through the gift shop in the lodge during the summer season ending Labor Day weekend. There is an enclosed patio space for guests with outdoor furniture, firepit and stage for musicians. We also have games for kids and a shaded area.
