The spacious deck & surrounding garden are adorned with fairy lights, a hot tub & fire pit to add a warm, romantic ambience. The fun & stylish interior is totally modernized with sleek appliances but still pays homage to the history of the Ambassador Airstream with retro touches & vintage bar ware. Welcome happy campers! We're Caroline & Ash; Together, we've ventured the globe but nothing calls us Home quite like the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's always been our dream to own an AirStream. Now that we've made that dream a reality (finally!) we realized we can't keep this little oasis to ourselves...this tranquil space must be shared with the world to enjoy & embrace Mother Nature at her finest. We chose this unique property for the peaceful landscape, convenient access to Skyline Drive & other popular attractions. You're welcome to enjoy The Gypsy, attached porch, fire pit & hot tub. The driveway from the highway is shared BUT follow the signs to the AIRSTREAM (to the LEFT) & please do not interrupt the COTTAGE to the RIGHT. I want you to feel like this is your home away from home so I will not show up unannounced or interrupt your stay. However, if you have any questions I’ll be happy to answer you through Airbnb. We also have an on-call property manager who can assist you or make repairs if any unexpected maintenance issues occur. *The fenced off lower field is occasionally occupied by our two rescue horses, Charlie & Frankie, where they are free to graze, run & enjoy their retirement. You’re welcome to admire the horses from afar but please don’t open the gate or enter the field without your host/professional handlers on site. *The Airstream is located in a remote area, where laundry services are not available. That said, neither sheets nor towels are provided but there are plenty of blankets, comforters & pillows at the Airstream. If you would prefer to have sheets & towels provided I could arrange for these to be set up for an additional linen rental fee. *No need to worry about a smaller space! There’s plenty of storage room for luggage under the King bed & under the dinette seats. We also have shelf space for non-perishable food…and in case you haven’t noticed there are TWO fridges, one inside & one outside. **PETS ARE WELCOME WITH PRIOR APPROVAL & A FEE OF $50 PER PET. Please review policies regarding pets under the House Rules, i.e., no pets on furniture, in hot tub, etc.
