The location is simply outstanding you go from rural views to the historic Lewes town centre within a 5 minute drive. Glyndebourne opera and Charleston are within a 10 minute drive. Perfect for all occassions. The shepard's hut located near my stables. So you'll catch glimpses of my horses during your stay. Guests also have access to a full-size tennis court, with rackets provided. The court is shared with other holiday properties and available on a first come, first served basis. Guest access Guests access through private drive, which is unlit at night. So if coming by foot at a time where it may be dark. You may need to use a torch / light to navigate your way through the estate. The Shepard's is sign posted by tennis course but not lit. Other things to note If you are booking from the 22nd of June, we are sorry to say that we have had to up our nightly prices due to Airbnb putting heavier fees on us hosts. We are dog friendly but sadly cannot accommodate cats. Please note to keep your dogs on a lead outside of the fenced area and pick up any droppings and place in the outside bin. We only allow one dog included in the price, another dog will be subject to an additional cost. Our field paddocks (in front of the Shepard's hut) may have horses in during your stay. If your bringing a dog that may find this a problem, we recommend letting us know prior to booking, to see if when can put horses elsewhere during your stay. Sadly winter we cannot move horses out of fields. Please do not feed horses or pet the horses. We do not accommodate children as the space is only built for two adults. If you wish to have outside guests to visit, please ask me. Please note if you are booking our shepard's hut during the week there maybe more activity in the fields, gardens and around the estate as we are a working estate. When booking please message me to tell me your preference for milk or a milk alternative.
