Roadside Rose Cottage-Farm

Built in 1919. An older home, think like visiting granny. Set right next to the road. You will hear road noise. Not a luxury home, priced as a family value for those traveling on a small budget. Not meant to be reviewed against luxury homes. Simple and has all the necessities. 5-15 mins: Berry College, Atrium and Advent Hospitals, downtown and shopping. Check out our budding farm and pet the animals. Book Next door too, Garden house bnb, if you have more family visiting. The space Right next to the ROAD, sounds in front and country in the back. The bedrooms are decent size. All other rooms are quite small. It is an older home. If historic and quant are not your thing, we are not your place. One bathroom sometimes has yellow water, this is old pipes. The owners live next door in the brick house. Guests are welcome to walk onto the owner’s budding farm, enjoy the play area, animals and with advance notice we can turn on outdoor lights and arrange a bonfire. Feeding animals is permissible with a waver. Walking over to the pond is permissible with a waiver, where you can enjoy fishing, pond craft, or walking around, all dependent on the level of rain we’ve had. DONKEY is in the pasture and protects the animals. Approach with caution if you have a pet with you. He is very sweet, but his first job is to protect the herds. Feeding horses and donkey over the fence is encouraged. Please stick to carrots and apples. On the BACK side of the fence, large left pasture, there is an ELECTRIC WIRE. By the gate and other pastures there is no electric fencing. Guest access You are welcome to all the green space around you. Greet animals with Host and enjoy access to the pond, kayaks and acres of walking/hiking space. Keep in mind the white house behind you is also a guest house and may also be out and about. Other things to note There is potential for noise. When school is in session there is slower traffic, when it isn’t, cars are louder as they are speeding faster. If roadway traffic is an issue for you, please do not book.
