River Grass Camping Pitch No 17

The main meadow is around 25 acres with the banks of the River Taw surrounding it. The water is crystal clear and there are amazing areas where you paddle and deeper areas to have a swim. These pitch areas are limited but all within 5 metres of the waters edge. Wild life ranges from families of geese, and the occasional odd salmon fish jumping out the river. Remember this is eco rustic wild camping without any frills, but within a safe environment on a fully working farm. The space We are a family run small holding and are proud to call our farm our home, located in a beautiful position nestled on the banks of the Taw river within North Devon, set within 30 acres of green meadows and woodland. We are balancing traditional farming methods in a bid to become totally Eco and practice sustainable and modern family methods. Choose from camping next to the riverbank, listening to the trickling water and watch carefully to see the occasional otter, or in the meadows and watch the wild life with our resident pheasants and squirrels, listen to the morning chorus as the birds welcome in the morning, or camp in the woodlands as our two baby dear graze through the woodland.
