Cottage in Lamoine

This beautiful cottage, clean, simple, with cottage style kitchen, dining area, 1 bath. Master bedroom has a Queen bed. And, a Full size bed in our semi-private sunroom. Great for a couple just wanting to get away and visit our surrounding areas. We are located 1.5 miles from Ellsworth. Convenient for groceries or visit local restaurants, we’re just outside of town. Visit Lamoine Beach & State Park (6 miles) or visit scenic Mount Desert Island, the village of Bar Harbor (19 miles) The space Our home, with coastal accents throughout, offers one bedroom with a queen size bed, and a full size bed is available in our 4 season sun room (see photos). Our home has a fully equipped cottage style kitchen & dining area, completely new bathroom, a morning coffee bar with a Keurig coffee maker and a regular brew coffee pot, plenty of space to relax after a day of hiking and sight seeing. The back yard offers a small deck, chairs, with a gas grill. This recently renovated home which we call Red Roof cottage is located only 1.5 miles outside of Ellsworth. Head into town for dinner at one of the local eateries, have a slice of Blueberry pie, a lobster dinner, or our favorite, Maine fried clams. We’re just a short trip out to Mount Desert island and all of its adventures. We are 8 miles to the Trenton bridge at the head of the island. Many of our guest have enjoyed getting up super early to be at the top of Cadillac Mountain for the famous sunrise! Don’t forget to make your reservation! Don’t forget your bikes and kayaks for a great adventure. Guest access Guest have access to the whole first floor. A washer and dryer are available downstairs. There is a deck to the yard with gas grill and patio furniture. Although living space is all on one floor, it is not completely handicapped accessible. There are 3 steps into house. Older house with small doorways. Other things to note Board Games, playing cards, cribbage set available. Bagged beach chairs and a cooler available for your use.
