Dream Cottage on Lake Onalaska- Kayaks, Canoes

Located directly on Lake Onalaska, WI, this beautifully renovated home is across from the Mississippi River Nature Preserve, close to the Great River Bike Trail, and comes equipped with 2 kayaks and a canoe we also have boats for rent pontoon boats or flat bottoms so you can enjoy the lake right from your backyard! The house is a 3 bedroom/1.5 bath / 2-3 boats. The view from this home is what sets it apart! It is a great place for couples, families with kids, or to be used as a monthly rental. The space Welcome to Onalaska and the Brice Prairie Conservation area. This space has been beautifully renovated and updated to be an amazing home away from home during your stay. It features a master bedroom with queen bed, large dining room and living area with two sided fireplace, and beautiful views of your own lakefront! Two additional bedrooms combine to make this a cozy and versatile space that works well for groups of many sizes. boats are available for rent from large pontoon boats to small flat bottoms please ask for details The kitchen has new appliances and is stocked with all you will need to prepare meals or make great coffee. The large sectional in the main living room provides ample seating and the flatscreen TV is connected to hi-speed WiFi so you can watch your favorite streaming service. The backyard has a patio, fire pit, and steps down to the lake so you can access the water from your own backyard. This is also an amazing spot for eagle watching. The tree directly behind the back of the house will have multiple eagles in it throughout the year so you can view various kinds of wildlife during your stay. As the sun goes down it sets right over the bluffs so you have amazing views right from the backyard. For monthly stays, the oversized garage is available for parking and/or storage. Driveway parking for 3-4 cars and 2-3 boats is available for nightly/weekly guests. The laundry room is on the main level of the home and also serves as the half bathroom. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, dock, and outside area. The garage is available for stays longer than 30 days. Other things to note There are two security devices on the property. One is a video doorbell on the front door and the other is a security camera located on the garage. These devices are used to keep an eye on the property when I am not there in person. I provide dish soap, laundry detergent, and hand soap to get you started while you are here. The master bedroom as well as the kid’s room are located on the main level of the house. The master has a queen bed and the kid’s room has a twin over full bunk, twin bed, and trundle mattress. The third bedroom is downstairs and has a full bed and a futon. The downstairs has a small game room with a pinball machine. There is also a door to access the downstairs from the backyard. There is a full bath and half bath in this home. Both baths are located on the main level. The full bathroom has a single sink and a shower over the tub. The half bath is part of the laundry room. I welcome weekly and monthly stays and have discounted rates to make it affordable. However, there is an additional $150 cleaning fee collected for stays longer than 30 days. We ask that you respect our neighbors by limiting additional noise between 10:30 PM and 8:00AM.
