Begur Family villa south facing ideal for families

This lovely, fully air conditioned detached villa is in large south facing grounds that enjoys all day sunshine. The interior has undergone major renovation, offering a bright and airy interior. It is in a very tranquil location yet is close to Begur. There is a very good supermarket a short walk away. The area has much to offer with local beaches and, of course, pretty Begur with its boutique shops, bars, restaurants and friendly atmosphere. Off-street parking make this a perfect place to stay. The space The house has been lovingly maintained over the years and has recently enjoyed extensive renovation and remodelling of the interior, whilst still carefully maintaining its traditional Catalan character. There is a new well-equipped kitchen which is separated from the dining area by a preparation peninsula. The whole house is a wonderful bright and airy space which tastefully combines classical local style and modern functionality. There is fast reliable fibre internet. Now with air-conditioning throughout and with off-street car parking on the premises, this property is a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. There are 3 good sized bedrooms with built in storage space and comfortable beds. The modern bathroom is equipped with a large walk-in shower that has great water pressure. The large lounge has French windows opening up onto the covered part of the terrace which looks out over the large, private south facing grounds. This is the perfect spot for a meal or just relaxing with family or friends. New for 2025, we have extended the terrace so it is now more than double the size it was previously. The new large terrace has a comfortable sofa, chairs and coffee table that provide a great open outside space to relax, read a book or chat and compliments the shaded dining area perfectly. New for 2026, we have created a large sliding door to easily access the terrace form the dining room. We have also updated the lounge French windows. We now have a delightful communication between the bright airy interior and the large terrace with the choice of shade or sun. There are a couple of photos to help give an idea and more will follow when decoration is complete. Down the steps from the terrace we have created a large patio area. Part of this area creates a shaded 'porch' area to give shade when required while the rest of the patio is open so great for sitting outside and sunbathing. It is a great spot to relax being next to nature with all the trees and birds whilst also getting sun or shade, as you prefer. There are mature trees at the bottom of the land and the terrace and patio provide a wonderful view over densely wooded hills. This tranquil location really does have a great aspect. Outside, we are lucky to have such a large, private south facing space. For many years we had a very large lawn. Due to this region experiencing a long 2 year drought, the watering of lawns was prohibited so we were not able to keep our lawn which resulted in us extending the terrace and creating the patio. We still have a lovely space, over 900m2, with pretty borders, however it's not currently suitable for playing games and sunbathing etc. What was the lawn is currently left in a natural state while we plan the next moves to re-model the garden following the terrace extension. The large terrace and patio give us the new outside space to use. The size of the house and grounds helps give the house its special feeling of space and relaxing tranquillity. The location is in a very quiet area and yet is just minutes away from Begur close to the area's many pretty beaches, a great combination. Other things to note There are stairs inside the house and steps leading down from the terrace to the patio. These can be seen in the photos.
