A fun, modern, cozy apt sitting on top of Munjoy Hill on North St. 1Gb WIFI. Enjoy some of the best views in the city facing southwest to the city, back cove, white mountains, and sunsets. The apartment is part of a 2-unit home that we own and occupy. Enjoy the sunny backyard overflowing with flowers, hops, apples and grapes. We are a 2-minute walk to Washington Ave with its amazing restaurants, bars, breweries, and distilleries. We are a 8-minute walk to East Bayside brewery zone. The space Our home was built in 1876. It is one of the oldest homes on the hill. We bought the house in 2010 and have been working on it since. We are a family of four living upstairs. We are a international family. I am from Cape Cod Massachusetts and my wife is from Lisbon Portugal. We tend to travel the world a lot seeking adventure in the winter. We are super passionate about surfing, skiing, mountain biking, beer, food and Portland so if you have any questions feel free to ask. We tried to make the apartment a fun blend of the historic nature of the home with some modern touches and some artwork we picked up traveling the globe. My wife Rita from Portugal speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, and Italian for those travelers needing any help in these languages. We truly hope you have a wonderful stay in our little oasis on the hill. Guest access You will be able to access our downstairs apartment and the backyard. Other things to note Please note, our 2 bedroom set up is a “railroad style” bedroom so you need to go through one bedroom to get to the second bedroom. For some reason they did this back in the 1800's. This setup is great for families with kids but maybe not the best for 2 couples seeking privacy. To help with this, we have a couch that converts to almost a queen size bed in the living room. It is not a traditional pullout with the uncomfortable bars in the middle. We have a super soft topper for it to make it cozy. The living room also has curtains that can be closed for privacy for those sleeping on the converted couch. Also, 1GB wifi with Fiber Optic.
