The home features 4 furnished bedrooms, a fully furnished kitchen and dining area, a spacious living room with pull-out sofa, 2 full baths, high-end linens, a stocked laundry room, and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. We hope to see you soon! The space THE CABIN sits at the back of a pristine 5-acre piece of property that is all yours to explore and enjoy. The property entrance is tucked away on a country road cul-de-sac with very little traffic. The welcoming driveway winds you through the trees, over a bridge, and up a hill to welcome you to the cabin. It will be as if you have been transported to another time and place. So quiet. So peaceful. The cabin is furnished with solid, high-end furniture and state of the art Samsung appliances. The linens are of excellent quality: mostly Ralph Lauren, and Pottery Barn, and a few other brands of organic cotton and other luxury fabrics. The mattress in the master bedroom continues to get high reviews and is sure to melt away any stress you brought with you. There are plenty of soft blankets for getting cozy and watching movies. The cabin has 2 TV's, one in the living room and the other in the master bedroom. Each are set up with ROKU, so stream away! The AC/heating unit is new and cools or heats the place in minutes, so comfort is at your fingertips. PORCHES: The front and back porches are great for bird watching, bug listening, yoga doing, book reading, popsicle eating, or any other activity you would like to participate in! The porches provide amazing outdoor spaces to enjoy the gifts of mother nature in their pure form. ON PROPERTY: Basketball hoop, zip line, hammock, long sloped driveway perfect for scooters and plasma car races, fire pit, and picnic tables. You will find a basket of balls and yard toys to enjoy. Plasma cars are provided. BBQ grill is set up with propane and ready to go. NEARBY: Local small lake is 1.5 miles away if kiddos want to try their hand at fishing. We are close to many trails, parks, and public pools (summer only). Riva Row Boathouse (15 minutes) rents kayaks/canoes/paddle boards for a reasonable hourly rate. Check out my guidebook for more details. FARM LIFE: Our property is home to several lovely critters. THE CHICKENS are housed in a small coop sitting on the back corner of the property. You can see them if you would like to venture back through the garden area. If it's not your thing, that's fine too. THE GARDEN area is equipped with self-wicking beds and is usually planted with fall or spring vegetables and herbs. Feel free to pick and eat anything that is in season. OUR BEES are busy doing their thing, and providing us with much fascination and delicious fresh honey. The apiary is housed on the opposite end of the 5 acres, away from the cabin. You won't even know the bees are there. If you would like to get a closer look by putting on a bee suit and peeking into a hive, just let me know! GUESTS TRAVELING WITH KIDS: A pack-n-play, kitchen booster seat and toys/books are stored in the bunk room. Kid blankets and kid dishes are provided. All the BEST of toys (think hot wheels cars, little people bus & accessories, etc.) are provided. You will find games, books, and puzzles in the living room TV cabinet. DISCOUNTS: Send me an inquiry for last minute discounts and special pricing. THE BARN: (additional space - fee required) The barn adds additional hang out space that is quite lovely. Both garage doors roll up and it provides a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The barn is equipped with surround sound, blue-tooth capacity for streaming music, a large retractable movie screen and projector, a ping pong table, a comfy L-shaped sofa, and a rustic bar-height table with barstools. It is a comfortable indoor/outdoor space that offers a pavilion of sorts to shield from the sun and weather. Also included with the BARN is a BOSE portable sound system with multiple channels for microphones, instruments or Bluetooth devices. Karaoke night, here we come! Come and stay! Come and enjoy! Guest access Guests have private access to the cabin and are allowed to enjoy all outdoor spaces on the five-acre property. There is parking for 4 cars on the cement area in-between the barn and the cabin. Additional parking in the mulched area will hold several more cars. Other things to note THE BARN is available upon request for an additional fee. LARGE EVENTS are allowed, but must be approved and arranged with the owner and are subject to additional event fees.
