From May 2, 2024, Albufeira City Council started to apply the Municipal Tourist Tax, which costs €2 per Guest per Night, up to a maximum of 7 nights. The fee must be paid at check-in. The Municipal Tourist Tax is applied during the following time of the year: from April 1st to October 31st. Not all tourists are subject to the tourist tax.
