At booking a very detailed map will be provided so you’re familiar even before you check in along with a video to make your check in easy and stress-free. We are very lucky to have any parking as Savannah is notorious challenging for parking issues as are most tourist cities. So far No guests have had issues w free street parking. You will need to note that once a week on different blocks there is street sweepers note the signs Note there is NOT PRIVATE off street parking but unlimited time no pass needed free street parking so far no complaints from any guests. Parking is conveniently available on-street at no cost. Please pay close attention to the posted sweep zones and times as you may have to move your car at that specified date and time to avoid fines. Sweeping times and days are specific to the street you're parking on and can be found on red and white signs along the sidewalk They are different on each block or two - and so far have not posed a issue for any guests. Luggage storage is available on a limited ( more details and the code are in your digital house manual You have access to your apartment only and luggage storage info on that is in your digital house manual Please do not go down or upstairs to other units or walk thru the path to the Victorian mansion private walk way which is other guests private airbnb. Please use the public streets to access the park or the large parking lot If you use the smaller complimentary luggage box you may be possibly storing your luggage with other guests from our other units This is a FREE complimentary rare courtesy for an Airbnb ( it’s easier for hotels as they have a lobby ) We as the owners and management are NOT responsible for your luggage and any damage and release all liability. Please name label your belongings. There is luggage storage business close by that charges per piece. I would be happy to send you the information if that is better for you Other things to note There are security camaras outside only including one at the front door ( ring doorbell ) They are monitored for your safest security and to protect the property. HVAC is strong and for some on the louder side ( 5% of guests have mentioned) Washer dryer on site are not guaranteed it’s our working space for 6 apartments Other Things to Note To comply with our insurance policy, Airbnb AirCover requirements, and the City of Savannah Short-Term Rental Ordinance, we must strictly enforce guest count limits. • This listing has a maximum occupancy of 2 registered guests • Pricing shown is for up to 2 guests only Additional Guests & Visitors (Strict Policy): • Any 3rd person—including brief visitors or those “just stopping by”—must be pre-approved and added to the reservation • The fee for a 3rd guest is $25 per day/night (applies regardless of length of stay) • Unregistered guests are not permitted on the property at any time This policy is not flexible and is required for licensing, safety, and insurance compliance. Exterior cameras monitor entry points to ensure adherence. Just a note on fees - The guest service fee goes 100% to Airbnb to run it’s platform. The city taxes go 100% to the City of Savannah. The cleaning fee goes 100% to my hard working house cleaners. They asked for a working wage and I agree. We as the host and owner get 100% of the nightly rental fee ONLY we can’t control any costs beyond the low nightly price Savannah Bugs — Savannah is known for their bugs . We spend lots of money ( we have the receipts ) on pest control companies traps and much more but its impossible to kill them 100% 100% of the time. It's rare that you will see a bug we make no guarantee and do not give refunds . We leave a swatter and a broom in the basement. We dont come over and kill bugs. This is the south ! Please keep the door shut at all times NOTE Check in time is 4pm check in time July 2025 the fountain in the park is being restored Laundry We make no guarantees as this is our only working laundry room for 6 units and 30 beds We usually make room for a guest to to a load but need 5 days minimum days notice. So far we have been able to accommodate guests requests but make no 100% guarantees. # We release all liability for the complimentary use of the pack n play User uses at own risk. Luggage drop info is in your house manual 48 hours prior to check in Note house rules on no smoking anywhere inside or outside on our property- there are fines as noted Only the guests noted on the reservation can enter the unit , no outside guests. The Blue Door is in a real neighborhood and full time neighbors live close by. The city of No parties , no lively rowdies quite hours are from 9pm to 8am and are STRICTLY enforced. WE can get our business license revoked so we take this very seriously. Please look elsewhere if you feel this is not a good fit. We reserve the right to ask guests to leave immediately if house and city rules and laws are broken. And or if neighbors and or other Airbnb guests complain. Service dogs We prefer documentation and require knowledge of what duties your service dog performs/ we do have a cleaner who has severe canine dander and fur allergies so kindly let us know the type of your service dogs We can not accommodate comfort dogs.
