Cottage in Hilton Beach

When we decided to buy a cottage, we wanted something that brought us closer to nature, but didn’t want a house on the water. It had to have some rustic elements to it. With its vaulted knotty pine ceilings and walls, and windows looking out at the lake, we instantly fell in love. It doesn’t matter if it’s high summer floating on the lake, or Fall with the beautiful colours, it’s just a special place to be. The space This cozy lake front cottage offers 2 levels of living space. The main level features an open concept kitchen, living, dining, a full bathroom and laundry facilities. Enjoy the views from our large wrap around deck facing the lake. The lower level features 3 bedrooms, and another full bath. The patio doors lead you to the lower deck, down the path, past the fire pit and to the waters edge. The cottage is outfitted with everything you could need from dishes and linens, movies and games, BBQ,’s, 4 kayaks (2 adult, and 2 child,) floaties, and water safety equipment. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property including a shed which has life jackets, kayaks and floaties to enjoy the lake. A small aluminium fishing boat is available for those looking to catch the big one, and we’ve just added a pedal boat as well. *Note - the dock and swim platform will be removed around Labour Day. The lakeside deck will remain after this for you to use so that you can still enjoy the lake and the beautiful Fall colours. Other things to note ***** Please also note that at this time only guests with a positive rental history on Airbnb will be allowed to book this property. Initially we used basic verifications, but quickly found out not everyone takes care of our property they way we would expect, and resulted in damages. While unfair to paint everyone with the same brush, this system gives us a little more security and control over our property. We thank all those looking for their understanding. *****
