Double room-Shared Bathroom

Monkton Wyld Court is a large country house and grounds in an idyllic location in Dorset, offering a variety of courses, venue hire and bed & breakfast facilities. All run by a friendly resident sustainable community. The space Double rooms have beautiful period details including unique stone-masonry and window frame detailing. Rooms look out over the garden, into the copse flanking the entry drive, or across the inner courtyard to the coastal hills. All rooms have a small sink and large cupboard. Washroom facilities (toilet, shower, bath) are steps away down the corridor running the length of the floor. Guest access On the same floor as this room, there is one communal sitting room with limited WiFi, sofas, books, games, a grand piano and wood burning stove, terraces with our organic garden and grounds. Other things to note Meals: A set lunch and dinner can be provided at an additional cost if booked 24hrs in advance - lunch is at 1pm and dinner at 6pm.All meals are vegetarian and organic. We are experienced in catering for various special dietary requirements (such as gluten free or vegan), if requested in advance. We also have self-catering facilities in the form of a 4-ring domestic gas stove, fridge-freezer, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery which you would be welcome to use. We don’t have any televisions in the house, but we can provide board games, limited WIFI service, plenty of books and fires to curl up by. As we are a Grade II Listed building our windows are single glazed so if you are booking in winter months please consider this. We apologise but we do not accommodate pets under any circumstances.
