The panoramic sea views are breath-taking on a sunny day from the patio and terraced lawns in front of the cottage. The steep northerly slopes are covered with deciduous woodland and the land to the west and south is covered with natural vegetation, including bracken, grasses and wild flowers. The all-weather lane to the cottage is steep but easily driven and there is ample parking for at least four cars with a large turning area. The cottage lies on an almost flat terrace with easy, all weather access around it. A National Park viewpoint is situated on the northern slopes of the Preseli Hills, some distance above this beautiful detached character cottage. The property has retained many period features with exposed and painted stonework to the interior, an open-plan double height sitting room, galleried landing, exposed beams and joists. and an inglenook fireplace with a cosy wood burning stove make it a perfect choice throughout the seasons. Dinas Cross, a village of about 600 inhabitants, sits deep below the cottage and nestles within the steep slopes of the Dinas Mountain. There are two beautiful beaches nearby where there is safe bathing and boating and the village has a great fish and chip shop! There are many local walks with scenic routes over the mountain to the Gwaun Valley and the Preseli Hills beyond. Days out in Pembrokeshire are limitless; with family fun theme parks; historic castles and cathedrals; and plenty of activities from a gentle round of golf with a sea view, to coasteering and kayaking for the more adventurous. Please note, whilst the property has two bedrooms with king-size beds, a maximum of three guests can be accommodated due to the natural spring fed water supply. Sorry, no pets. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Conservatory A conservatory with further seating connects the bedrooms to the sitting room. Bedroom one With a 5' king-size bed. Bedroom two With a 5' king-size bed. Please note, whilst the property has two bedrooms with king-size beds, a maximum of three guests can be accommodated due to the natural spring fed water supply. Bathroom With a corner bath, separate walk-in shower, wash basin and WC. Mezzanine Level: Overlooking the sitting room, with a seating area and desk. Outside: A completely refurbished outdoor shed provides a large secure storage area for bikes, canoes and other equipment and also acts as a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a patio area outside the kitchen with garden furniture and disposable barbecue. Gently sloping terraced lawns extend to an acre within four acres of grounds. Off-road parking for up to four cars. Other things to note Twin zip and link beds 2’6” wide (or 5’ when joined).
