Guest suite in Interlochen

Enjoy four seasons of beauty in a private downstairs guest suite with a bedroom, living room, bathroom, and dining/breakfast nook with a Keurig, microwave and small fridge (no kitchen). Walk out the door to the lakefront where you can lounge in the sun, use the kayaks, and make a fire. Located 3 miles from Interlochen Arts Academy, it is an easy drive to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Crystal Mountain, biking, hiking and running trails and award-winning golf and disc golf courses. The space We continue to hold high standards of cleanliness. Rest assured that the entire guest suite is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before your arrival. We live on the upper floor of the home and the guest suite where you will stay is the lower level of our home, but is entirely private for you, with a separate entrance. The windows and doors make it a light-filled space during the day. Upon arrival, you will find a bowl with fruit, bars and snacks as well as water and beverages for refreshment as you settle in, or for a light breakfast. There is a small fridge with freezer, a Keurig, toaster, and microwave. The cart is stocked with paper and plastic ware, coffee pods, creamer, sugars, and teas. Watch your favorite shows on Netflix, or local channels. Enjoy the beauty of the backyard, sit on the patio, and enjoy the nature around you. Listen to the loons, swans, and sandhill cranes. Use the kayaks to see the lake in a whole new way. End your day by the fire pit on the beach. Guest access Harmony House is located in a beautiful, natural setting. Walk to the waterfront to enjoy sitting on the beach or dock, swimming and kayaking. There are lounge chairs on the beach, and also chairs around the firepit. There are 2 kayaks with life jackets you are welcome to use. Look for loons, swans, turtles and beaver lodges as you paddle around the lake. Sunsets are spectacular, and the night sky is amazing for star gazers. There is a picnic table for your use, and enjoy cookouts and campfires at the firepit on the sandy beach. There is firewood available for you to use. It is a good fishing lake, also for ice fishing. In the winter, you are welcome to use the available snowshoes. Other things to note The private entrance to the guest suite is accessed via an inclined path along side the house. Those with mobility issues may have difficulty. For your entertainment, there is a TV with Netflix and some local channels as well as books and games
