Our place is located on Lake Vermilion, with a sandy beach, and amazing sunset views! You’ll love our home because of the coziness, the views, the proximity to the water, spacious deck, the high ceilings, and the kitchen. Our lake home is good for couples and families. The space Lake Vermilion is one of the largest and most beautiful lakes in MN with 365 islands and 1200 miles of shoreline and an excellent place for walleye and musky fishing. The cozy cottage has everything you need to be comfortable for your getaway! There is a private dock and safe sandy beach. Also, a fully furnished kitchen and gas grill on the spacious deck. Please note that the tap water comes from a lake water system and can be used for dishes, showers, making coffee and brushing teeth. We will provide fresh water for drinking. Guest access Available for our guests: A sandy beach, kayaks, yard games, camp fires, sauna, lounge chairs, gas grill, and a spacious relaxing deck. A guided pontoon ride can also be scheduled. Inside guests will have access to Wi-fi, table games, reading materials and Smart TV. Other things to note There are many things to do within an hours drive. A trip to Ely features the bear museum, the International Wolf Center, as well as access to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and several hiking trails. Several golf courses can be found close by. Vermilion Fairways is only three miles away. The Wilderness Golf Course (one of the top 100 courses in the country) is on the same property as the Fortune Bay Casino and only a 20 minute drive away. The Vince Schutte Bear Sanctuary is an unique experience. You might also like a tour of the Tower-Soudan Underground Mine or a trip to Chisholm to see Iron World.
