Cottage in Vershire
Cottage in Vershire
Description
Breathtaking views, mountain fresh air, and tranquility in the hill town of Vershire, VT; the Fortress looks out over the White Mountains to the East during the day and the Milky Way above at night. The property spans 6 acres that are available to all guests looking for a bit of snow-shoeing or a walk in the woods. Plus recent renovations! Designed and built by architect, Nick Fabrikant, it offers splendid open floor plans and incredible natural lighting through the many South-facing windows. The space Accommodations include a full-size bed for two, a small kitchen that's perfect for making morning pancakes with fresh local maple syrup, and several comfy chairs from which to watch the rising and setting of the sun in your personal mountain hideout. While there is an air mattress available for additional guests by special request, we like to recommend the space for two guests at a time because of the open floor plans. Guest access The entire house and its 6 acres are at your disposal. We've left a custom map for you to help you explore all of the mystical nooks and crannies of the property. Other things to note The Fortress offers a functional and practical chance at living in a structural work of art. "The Great Hall" often reminds guests of a comic book character's hideaway lair because of the enormity of the space. Detailing includes a 10 ft. long English Banquet table and an 80 lb brushed steel chandelier, not to mention countless other custom designed pieces of furniture. The Fortress is located in a hilly rural area and cell phone reception is basically zero, so be prepared to disconnect from the world and take in the nature around you. We have fiber internet now, but let's be honest, you should just ignore that...
