If you need to accommodate more than 3 guests you might consider renting the lower Carriage House level along with the Carriage Loft. The guesthouse is situated in the back yard behind the main house. The front door of the guesthouse is the private entrance to the Carriage Loft. You can access the Carriage Loft by walking down the driveway on the south side of the main house into the backyard. When you enter the front door you will notice the original staircase on your right which leads to the second floor Carriage Loft. The front door is your private entrance and will provide you with complete privacy. The lower unit has its own entrance. The door between units is to remain locked at all times. The Heights is on the National Historical District registry, with wide tree lined streets and sidewalks. The neighborhood contains great examples of 1920’s architecture with craftsman, arts and crafts, Dutch colonial, and four square styles all well represented. We are within a healthy walk to downtown; or you can drive there in about 5 minutes. We are also close to the inter-dispersal loop which gives you quick access to anywhere in the city. Once you've parked, gather your belongings and head to the backyard by walking down the driveway on the south side of the main house. *Please Note: We have Chickens in the backyard - they’re quiet and friendly and sometimes like to great our guests. NOISE The guesthouse was built in 1925 and does't have the same level of insulation that a newer build might have. Some noise will likely travel between the units. There is an interior door near the front window that connects the upper and lower units. That door is to remain locked on both sides unless you have rented both the lower and upper suites. NO KITCHEN This studio does not have a full kitchen, but is thoughtfully equipped with a Nespresso coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave. CANCELLATIONS We do not offer refunds for cancelations outside of what our cancellation policy states. MOWING Mowing crews mow weekly during spring and summer season. They set their own schedule. Please be advised that they may be on your property for a quick mow during your stay. NOTE: Tulsa is notorious for spring ants and wasps. Though we spray regularly, it is not uncommon to see a few in or near your Airbnb. This is not related to cleanliness but climate/environment.
