Feel at home in the primary bedroom of our shared home. 15 minutes to Red Rocks Amphitheater & 20-30 min to downtown Denver. Located in Littleton, walking distance to a lake with mountain views, a quick drive to Southwest mall, restaurants, golf courses, disc golf course, REI, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Target, movie theater. Our home has heat for the colder months, and while there’s no AC, fans are provided to keep you comfortable. We’ve been Airbnb Superhosts since 2016 and we welcome you! The space ABOUT: This is a shared home with front door entrance, and the upstairs spaces are shared with us. We live just a short walk to Harriman Lake with beautiful foothill views and some walking trails! BEDROOM: - This is the primary bedroom on the upper level with an attached private bathroom with standing shower. - Comfortable queen size bed with soft sheets, luggage rack, dresser, walk-in closet, full-length mirror, and bathroom mirror. - There is no AC but we provide two standing tower fans during warmer months and you can crack the windows/doors as long as you close them during the day while you’re away. - Spacious room with a sliding glass door going out to a small seating area on the large shared deck. The room has plenty of indirect sunlight. - We provide a flat-screen TV. You can sign into your streaming service if you desire. We have rotate streaming services so we will have at least one available. OPTIONAL DESK SPACE: - There is a narrow table in the room that can also be used as a desk. We have a chair that we can put in the room if you want to utilize the table as a desk. **Please let us know if you would like the desk chair placed in the room. Otherwise, it will not be in the room so you have more space :) BATHROOM: - In the private bathroom, we provide towels, washcloths, a hairdryer, handheld clothes steamer, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. ——————————————- There is a potential for noise outside of the house near the room at times during the day because of our close neighbors who have dogs and chickens, there also there is a public sidewalk that is located just beyond the privacy fence along our backyard that leads to a park area. We also live at the home and enjoy the front/backyard with occasional music. Nothing major just something to note if you or someone in your party are noise sensitive. ——————————————- COMMON SPACES: KITCHEN: - The kitchen is equipped with a Ninja coffee maker, a hot kettle for tea, and basically anything you need to cook with such as a blender, pots, pans, etc. - We will provide some refrigerator space available for your items on the top shelf. We cook a lot so we don’t have a ton of extra space but are always happy to try to make additional room if needed. UPSTAIRS LIVING ROOM: **We have 2 living room areas but currently only one is for use. Please use the UPSTAIRS living room that is located outside of the kitchen and dining rooms while we are renovating areas near the downstairs living room. Fireplaces do not work. DINING ROOM: - We have a nice dining room area upstairs next to the kitchen. Feel free to use it anytime! PARKING: - Street parking directly in front of our house. A few things to note: - As with many 1970s build homes in our neighborhood, it’s doesn’t have AC and weather can get warm in spring and summer, although mornings and evenings are cool. We have fans and open windows to help but please keep this in mind as we can’t control the weather :) - Currently, there is no laundry access as the downstairs is off-limits for guests as we are renovating, however, if you have a laundry emergency of some sort or need a load done, we would be more than happy to assist you with laundry. - DECK ACCESS - The section of the deck located directly outside the room is available for use. Please note that the remainder of the deck is off-limits while we install the guardrail. We are chill and happy to have you in our home! Thank you for reading this description, please see the "other details to note" section :) Guest access 2ND FLOOR ACCESS ONLY: You'll have access to the primary bedroom and connected bathroom upstairs, the upstairs living room, the upstairs dining room and kitchen. The deck has seating area that is ropped off. Please dont go beyond the roped off section of the deck for your safety. (no smoking cigarettes anywhere on our property, please!) During your stay We are here when you need us. We can give you tips on how to get places or where to go. You can message us in the app anytime if we are not around! Most of the time we are working from home on the computer in our offices which are located across the hall from your bedroom, watching tv in one of the living rooms, hanging and listening to music outside in the yard or in our bedroom downstairs. You're definitely free to hang out at the house, but we have lots of recommendations for those feeling adventurous! Other things to note We normally respond to reservation requests as fast as possible. Please make sure your profile is COMPLETELY filled out before you request a reservation. This way we can get to know you more and can accept reservation requests much faster! Thanks! ***Please note a few things: Our bedroom is downstairs but both of our offices are upstairs across the hall from the primary bedroom. But you don't ever have to worry about disturbing us if you are watching TV or listening to music. Currently, the house is not equipped with air conditioning so it can be quite warm in late spring or summer and due to older windows, the house can feel a little drafty at times in fall and winter. Colorado is known for its fickle weather so it can be nice and warm in the day and chilly in the evenings so keep that in mind when you pack. If it’s chilly, we have extra blankets. But Colorado weather is also crazy and it can still snow at any time, even in late May or late October so it's always best to be prepared. Lastly, because we have trees all around the front and back of the house, you may occasionally see spiders or similar creatures from time to time. This is just the nature of living in Colorado. We don't give refunds if you happen to see a spider or other type of bug anywhere in or around the house. We do spray both the inside and outside of the home for bugs, but bugs happen :) _______________________________ A little about us: We've been hosts since 2016 and have enjoyed having guests in our homes in Brooklyn - NY, Lakewood - CO, and now Littleton. We bought this house just before the pandemic shut down and have been working towards improving/ beautifying the house when and where we can. Projects have been challenging but rewarding.
