Located only 12 minutes from the southwest side of Bloomington, you will have easy access to the luxuries of the city while enjoying the natural beauty Monroe County has to offer! The secluded 10 acre property is located on a dead end road, roughly 6 miles off 37 / I-69. This listing is for a 2nd floor apartment in a shared building, but has two entrances. Renters may choose to enter the building through a shared first floor living/dining space -OR- may use the outdoor stairs to the private 8x8 deck. ALL utilities (propane, electric, water/sewer, wireless Internet, and trash removal) are included with the rental fee! You can enjoy all that the property has to offer: large decks, several outdoor entertaining areas, tennis court/multi-sport court, workout room, and a large rec room for entertaining on rainy days. Pets are welcome with prior approval. Most previous renters have had dogs and/or cats. Although the apartment is thoroughly cleaned between renters, anyone with severe animal allergies should look to rent elsewhere. There is a large fully enclosed dog kennel on the property with outdoor and indoor barn access. Renter's dogs are welcome to hang out with our dogs in the kennel during the day as long as the dogs all get along. Please note: Our dogs often run loose on the 10 acres when we are home. The drive to the property is down curvy country roads. On rare occurrence the winter commute into town gets a bit tricky, but thankfully this area generally has mild winters. PLEASE NOTE: This apartment is located in a cabin in the woods. While we do our best to keep rodents at bay - it is not uncommon for outdoor bugs or a field mouse to make its way inside (this is a normal part of living in the woods). It is also possible that you could see deer raccoons, opossums, snakes, etc outdoors. PLEASE NOTE: There is only one internet service provider available in our area. Although we pay for the best speed available - it is not comparable to the high speed internet you may be use to from the city. Download speeds are prioritized by the service provider - which makes upload speeds very slow. While we typically do not have issues with streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu (which use download speeds), the Internet is NOT suitable for high bandwidth demand like online gaming (which require good upload speeds). Please take this into account when making your booking.
