Creekside Retreat is located within a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees, varieties of birds and grey squirrels' minutes away from the village of Idyllwild, a short walk down the creek and woods to this relaxed mountain town. Our twenty-three hundred sqft. dual A-frame cabin with 400 sqft deck looking over the creek offers plenty of space yet closeness to either section of the cabin. Unique fireplace in living/kitchen area and wood burning stove in family room with fooz ball table. The 4 sleeping areas consist of an upstairs master bedroom with king bed and bathroom, one open loft with king bed above the family room, one open loft with queen bed above kitchen & one open loft with double bed overlooking living room. All Lofts are semi-private except double loft, upstairs and overlook Strawberry Creek. The Idyllwlid Community Park and IDY centre is a short walk either along the creek or back towards the road you drove in on. Walking is a good way to visit IDY center from our cabin. Either from our street or down the creek to either the Butterfield Ampitheater or IDY Brewpub than up the street to the edge of the village. Family room has a small wood burning stove. Living room fireplace has mesh apron that you roll up using crank on side by the TV. Opposite side is where you open damper, which you should close once fire/embers are out.
