It is one square mile town just over the bay bridge and home to many great things: Pixar, Peet's Coffee, Cliff Bar, Rudy's Can't Fail Cafe, and the greatest number of artists per capita in the U.S. (I was told). It is a safe city...with its many resources. With walking distance to the Bay Trail and aquatic park, you can go for an evening stroll or run when you need it. 8 miles from the city, you will be able to get to downtown, the ball park, or the mission faster than many who live in the city itself. Emeryville is also a hub of public transit...with free shuttles to BART and walking distance from the train. The OAK airport is 15 min away, SFO is 25 min without traffic. The unit has a secured entry...and is considered very safe. There is a washer and dryer upstairs with a desk if you need to get some work done. There is a public deck if you want to get some sun or take in the views. If you need anything, just ask...I live in the building next door. Downstairs you will find a Salon and a Pilates Studio. Coool! There is a really great cafe 2.5 blocks away...and an awesome bakery 5 blocks with great coffee. Panera 2 blocks if you prefer, Target has groceries, and Trader Joes is a 15 min walk. There is an unbelievable grocery store that people travel miles to shop a 10 min drive away. The Bay Street Mall is 10 min walking distance if you would like to shop, dine, or see a movie.
