The Farmhouse-Access Trails! No cleaning fees.
FYI, no events will take place during your stay. The Farmhouse was built in the late 1880s in the traditional Finnish style of square-cut logs. It was extensively renovated with two other additions and all the modern amenities you'd expect in a home today. Whether you're here for fishing, canoeing, snowmobiling, or simply relaxing in the quiet of the north woods, we know you'll enjoy your stay. Need more space? Check out our other listing, The Cottage at Brule River Barn, which sleeps 2-4. The space This home was the original farmhouse of what was once a dairy farm. The log heart of the home has a full kitchen stocked with all the utensils, dishes, and cookware you need for up to 11. We want your stay with us to be memorable in the best way possible! Guest access The Farmhouse is one of many buildings on the property that make up the Brule River Barn Wedding and Event Center. We do not host events when you visit so that you can access the Farmhouse and its gardens, the parking area, and the outdoor smoking area. Entry into any other buildings is prohibited. The parking area may be shared if there are guests in the Cottage at the same time. Other things to note We host weddings and other events from Memorial Day through mid-October. Rentals and events do not happen simultaneously, and parties are not allowed during your rental. If you want a wedding or event, please visit the Brule River Barn's website. We're connected to many miles of ATV and snowmobile trails, including the Tri-county Corridor. We are 12 miles from the mouth of the Brule River, so our location is a great area to park your snowmobile, ATV, or boat in the yard. We have plenty of parking spaces that meet your needs. The Farmhouse has no smoking, vaping, candles, or flames. There is a designated outdoor smoking area listed in the house manual. We have a firepit (with firewood) and a propane grill (with propane) from the spring through late fall when there isn't snow on the ground. Note: There is another listing - The Cottage at Brule River Barn - also on this property if you want more space, though you will still have plenty of privacy and play if you rent the Cottage only!
