The space 🏡 Welcome to the Dover Dreamer A cozy, modern-vintage cottage that blends comfort with natural beauty—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring or spending quality time with loved ones. 🔥 Living Room Spacious and inviting, the main living area features a working fireplace and an integrated workstation—ideal for cozy evenings or remote work. (Firewood not provided; see House Manual for fireplace use.) 🍳 Kitchen Plenty of counter space, updated appliances, drip coffee maker, and Keurig—with coffee and pods provided. Whether you're prepping snacks or cooking a full meal, you'll find what you need. 🎬 Family Room Relax on the pull-out sofa sleepers (bedding in chaise, closets, and family room). Enjoy the 55” Ultra HD TV with your favorite streaming apps (use your own accounts), or pick a classic from the DVD library. Board games and books are tucked on shelves beside the fireplace. 🛏️ Bedrooms Each bedroom includes a memory foam mattress (King - medium firm; Queen - medium soft), walk-in closet, Roku TV (use your own accounts), extra blankets, pillows, and fans for added comfort. 🌿 Backyard + Garden A fully fenced backyard awaits with a firepit (subject to seasonal fire restrictions—no ban as of June 22, 2025), mature fruit trees, berry bushes, veggie plants, and herb beds that fill the air with natural fragrance. Enjoy the garden swing or lounge on the patio and unwind under the stars. 🚶‍♀️ Local Attractions Just a short walk to Dover Bay Resort & Marina with public beach access, Dish restaurant, market, and watercraft rentals. Explore over 9 miles of walking and bike trails, or stroll through charming Dover Bay. The Sandpoint bike path leads 3 scenic miles into downtown Sandpoint for shopping, beaches, and nightlife. Schweitzer Mountain Resort – 25 minutes (15 miles) Silverwood Theme Park – 46 minutes (33 miles) Guest access 🔑 Guest Access Guests have full access to the entire home, the front of the property, and a fully fenced private backyard with a firepit (subject to seasonal fire restrictions). We welcome one pet under 60 lbs per reservation with fee. Depending on the breed and size, exceptions may be made—please send us a message before booking. 🌿 Seasonal Garden Access During mid to late summer, guests are invited to pick berries from the backyard—blueberries, Goji berries, and Josta berries when in season. The fenced garden may also offer homegrown tomatoes, cucumbers, and zucchini. If ripe, feel free to enjoy a taste of our organic, chemical-free produce. 🍎 Fresh Fruit Fun Plums and apples from the trees in the front and back yards typically ripen from late summer into early fall. Guests—especially those with kids—are welcome to pick from the low branches. 🌼 A Note About Nature We don’t use chemical herbicides or pesticides, so you may see a few weeds or friendly bugs around the property. We kindly ask that you keep doors closed to prevent insects from getting inside. For your comfort, we provide citronella candles and mosquito repellant during the summer months. Other things to note 📌 Other Things to Note Security Cameras: For the safety of our guests and property, there are four (4) motion-activated outdoor security cameras: -One faces the front parking area -One faces the front porch -Two face the private alley behind the home (not a guest access area) There are no cameras in any private guest areas—including the backyard or inside the home. We respect your privacy and are happy to answer any questions. Fire Features: -Indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit are both BYOW (bring your own wood) -The BBQ grill is a dual unit: propane is provided; briquettes are not Beach Towels: Provided during summer months for beach outings—please return them to the Dreamer at the end of your day. Bugs & Doors: We use natural, chemical-free landscaping, which means you may see bugs outdoors—especially in warmer months. To keep them outside, please avoid leaving doors open. Citronella candles and mosquito repellant are provided for your comfort. Booking Options: The Dover Dreamer is available for nightly, weekly, and monthly stays.
