LOCTUDY - big cottage close to the beach (300meters) and the fishing port can accommodate 4 people. fully equipped kitchen, 2 double bedrooms. very bright and quiet big garden with barbecue. Loctudy is a small fishing port at the mouth of the river Odet, south of Quimper. Boats sail up the river to Ile-Tudy and over to the Glenans or Belle-Ile. Fine sandy beaches lie outside the town. Loctudy was established in the early 19c as a port from which potatoes (grown nearby), were shipped to victorian England. Quimper is 30minutes away by car.
