The space Looking for the perfect vacation destination or maybe celebrating a birthday, anniversary or some special occasion? Look no further than the Haven on the Chesapeake Bay. Situated on 600 feet of prime waterfront & your own private beach, come ready to relax with a book and a drink or bring your boat and water toys for fun in the sun. The Haven is the perfect place for fishing and crabbing, or try your hand at sailing! Located 5 minutes from the quaint town of Reedville, you will be close to restaurants, ice cream and marinas. The Haven's private beach is wrapped by trees and a private tidal pond, just adjacent to the home, all tucked away from the hustle and bustle of life. The only umbrella you will see is the one you put in the sand and your favorite beverage! There are herons, eagles, osprey, dolphins, skate (not to be confused with the stingray), turtles & a plethora of other wildlife to observe. Our home boasts 3000 sq feet with million-dollar views overlooking the Chesapeake Bay and is meticulously maintained. We also have a tidal pond on the property where wildlife abounds. The Haven has 4 spacious bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, all filled with natural bright light. The primary bedroom is wrapped with windows & opens to a private patio and sweeping views of the bay. Fitted with a king bed, sitting area, and two bedside tables with lamps and a ceiling fan, this grand room flows into the primary ensuite with a large tiled shower, walk-in closet, full length mirror, hairdryer, linen closet, and double vanity. Next to the primary room is a bright bunk bedroom with a skylight. This room is right next to a large bathroom with a tiled shower and laundry area. The other two bedrooms are on the other end of the home and both overlook the private beach. The third bedroom has a twin bed with a trundle as well as a desk and ceiling fan. The fourth bedroom room has a queen bed, bedside table, lamp, ceiling fan and dresser. Between these two rooms is a full bathroom with a tub and shower. The family room is open and airy, designed for togetherness and relaxing with a large leather sectional, multiple chairs, ceiling fans, large glass sliding doors to the patio and overlooks the bay. Entertainment: Wireless high-speed broadband throughout the house. Blu-ray player and DVD's, 70'' HDTV with streaming options. The kitchen is spacious and bright and includes; a large island, gas range top and oven, microwave, full refrigerator/freezer with icemaker, dishwasher, ample counter space, coffee maker and coffee bar, cookware, utensils, plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses (safe for the beach!) and much more. Other: Bed linens included. Bath- bath towels are provided as well as a starter amount of bath tissue in each bathroom. Laundry- stain remover and detergent are available. Kitchen- starter pack of paper towels and napkins as well as some spices/seasoning. Beach- some chairs and sand toys are available as well as a paddleboard. PLEASE be sure to bring a life jacket that fits your group! We have some available but not in all sizes. Patio- There is ample seating with a table, chairs, and umbrella as well as a gas grill. Firepit- The fire pit is ready for your relaxing evenings by the water! Firewood split for your use. Our home is filled with wonderful features to make your vacation truly pleasant and carefree! Please note this is a non-smoking property. No smoking of any kind will be tolerated inside or out! There are multiple security cameras outside that monitor the premises. Doorbell camera , one on the front, one on the side and one off the back. We require a printed, completed, and signed rental agreement in addition to the automated acknowledgment when requesting to book. Access to the home will not be issued until we have received the fully completed and signed rental agreement. If you are looking for the perfect vacation destination, The Haven is it. Wake each morning to the surreal sunrise over the bay and watch as the herons, bald eagles, egrets, and many other birds catch their morning meal. On many warm days, the dolphins travel through too! Just sitting and watching, you will be enthralled with the wildlife, the massive ships passing by, and the small fishing vessels checking on their catch. Don't forget your binoculars! As the sun goes down and the many bright stars come out at night, you will also have the enjoyment of watching the Smith Lighthouse's beacon of light, shining. This home truly is a special and spectacular getaway!! The Haven on the Chesapeake Bay Guest access Renters will have access to the whole home, yard and beach.
