The Lee Place: cozy & timeless fun on Lake Rabun
This is a quintessential Rabun-style cabin nestled among the towering mountain pines, in one of the lake's larger coves. Built in 1935, from land purchased from lake founder, August Andrea, this home has been lovingly restored and ready to enjoy. Conveniently located right on prime shoreline, less than a mile from the historic Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant, Max's Lakeside Restaurant, and Hall's Boat House. No pets please. ***Follow on @theleeplace*** The space Originally a poker lodge for 5 gentlemen from Washington, GA in the 30's and then a family summer cottage in the 50's on, this is a beloved cottage is on the heart of Lake Rabun in an easy location to get to, as well as enjoy stops like the hotel and boathouse less than 1 mile away. Common to this area, the house sits back on the hill and Lake Rabun Rd wraps around the lake. Unique boathouses, including this home's, are right on the lake. Note that the road divides this property, so be mindful of crossing with small children.
