Airy apartment, beautiful view

Enjoy our bright, spacious, well-furnished 1-bedroom apartment for your visit to Bloomington. This very private space is in the beautiful countryside on the west side of Bloomington, conveniently just 15 minutes from campus and only 5 miles west of 37. The view from every window is beautiful, allowing for a very relaxing stay. The space Your own private entrance welcomes you to this sunny, spacious apartment above the garage, which doesn't even share a wall with our house, allowing you to feel you have your own little getaway. One of the things our guests comment on most often is how beautiful the view is. You'll have huge windows to enjoy the gorgeous views of the surrounding area, including tree-covered hills and a nearby barn with horses. The main area is bright and pleasant for your visit, with a TV (Amazon Firestick but no local channels) and a dvd with a number of movie options and free wifi. You're also guaranteed a great night's sleep on the incredibly comfortable queen Tempur-Pedic mattress. There is additionally a small room with a sloped-ceiling off the bedroom which is perfect for kids. We are happy to set up a pack-n-play or queen air mattress which is the height of a normal bed (although it's a tight fit especially for adults as you can see from the pictures.) The kitchen has is well-equipped with full oven, stove, refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, garbage disposal and microwave along with plenty of pots and pans if you want to cook. Otherwise we can provide plenty of local suggestions for restaurants. For food we provide eggs (from our chickens if they aren't on strike), butter, English muffins or bagels, cream cheese, jam, coffee and a tea selection. Other things to note This is an apartment above our garage and as such there is a long stairway leading to it. Let us know if you'd like our teenagers to help carry your bags up :)
