Treehouse in Columbia Falls
Description
Rustic comfort in a tree. The space Our Treehouse is just over a 1/4 mile hike into the Maine woods. Surrounded by nature. When you take the time to explore the area you’ll find moss covered ground, lichen covered trees and maybe a tree frog or two! In the evening watch the fireflies from the back deck. You will need to bring your own bedding ie: sleeping bag or sheets and blankets and all bathhouse essentials, or you may purchase linens for $15.00 per bed. We do keep extra linens in the treehouse but no guarantee as to what is in stock. Please leave any bedding used out for staff to take out for cleaning. You’ll find the treehouse stocked with some items such as lighters, extra batteries, wine bottle opener, paper towels and toilet paper. Again there is no guarantee of items so be sure to ask about anything ahead of arriving so that you have what you need. We’ll do our best to provide what you want. Guest access Getting to the treehouse is an easy hike on a public multi-use trail system. Please keep in mind that you will need to pack your belongings in and out. Transport service of your belongings can be provided for an additional fee of $15.00, payable on arrival. You may meet other hikers, bicyclists, all terrain vehicles, dog walkers, horse back riders as well as wildlife. Our wildlife still do not want to be seen so you should not be worried. Not only can you access the treehouse by foot but, we offer all terrain vehicles for rent, or you may bring your own! From our treehouse you’ll also have access the Sunrise Multi Use Trail System where you’ll find hundreds of mile of riding or hiking! Other things to note While there is a composting outhouse at the treehouse for convenience you will also enjoy our fabulous bathhouse at the campground. We have restrooms, shower rooms and coin operated washer/dryer, a pavilion with large screen TV and WiFi.
