Come get away from it all at my cozy cabin in the middle of the woods of Athens, Vermont. Utilize the firelight bathtub to get a beautiful view of the stars at night, roast s'mores by the fire pit, take a short walk along our walking path, or enjoy some games as you cozy up on the couch. There are also nearby hikes, swimming spots, skiing destinations, and drinking/eating spots! The downstairs is one big open room with the exception of the bathroom. Up the spiral staircase are 2 cozy loft spaces with full size beds! Guest access I have parking for 2 cars in the front yard. I encourage guests to bring a car as I am in remote area. Other things to note This house was featured in the YouTube series "Living Big in a Tiny House." Check out the episode "Stunning Small Cabin & Homestead In The Woods Of Vermont." Many features within the house/property have been updated since the filming of this video. Please note that this house is in the woods in a remote town. Because of this, there is the potential for some of the following issues: 1) While it is not common, there is the potential for a power outage during your stay. There is also no service at the house so if there is a power outage then you will either have to drive a few minutes down the road for cellular reception or go to the town hall to connect to their wifi (as they have a generator). Also, there can be the potential for a few ants and spiders in the house. 2) In addition, there is another A-Frame Airbnb house on the property. Please note that while the 2 houses are over 100 feet apart from one another, you may see other people on the property. 3) Lastly, my cleaner utilizes the basement of the Airbnb house you are staying in for washing/drying sheets from the other Airbnb. There is a separate entrance to this basement but I want you to be aware that you may see/hear my cleaner in the basement anywhere from 11 am - 3 pm during your stay. I will do my best to give you a heads up if this will occur.
