Come get away from it all at my cozy cabin in the woods of Athens, Vermont. I encourage guests to utilize the firelight bathtub to get a beautiful view of the stars at night. Or maybe you would like to roast s'mores by the fire pit. Possibly you would like to take a short walk along our walking path or enjoy some games as you cozy up on the couch. In addition to all there is to do around the house, there are also nearby hikes, swimming spots, skiing destinations, and drinking/eating spots! The house is a 650 sq. foot open layout plan cabin. The downstairs is one big open room with the exception of the bathroom. Up the spiral staircase are 2 cozy loft spaces with full size beds! I have parking for 2 cars in the front yard. I encourage guests to bring a car as I am in remote area. I won't be available in person as I will be away while you are staying at my home but I will be available via text/phone call. The cabin is located in the beautiful quiet town of Athens, Vermont. This town has amazing hikes and farms all around us. The cabin is a 10-minute drive to Grafton, Saxton Rivers or Townsend, 20-minute drive to Newfane or Bellows Falls, 35 minute drive to Brattleboro and 40 minute drive to Okemo, Mount Snow and Strattion. Come enjoy great dining, drinking, hiking, skiing and swimming options! There is parking space for 2 cars right in front of the house. Please note that this house is in the woods in a remote town. Because of this, there is the potential for some of the following issues: While it is not common, there is the potential for a power outage during your stay. There is also no service at the house so if there is a power outage then you will either have to drive a few minutes down the road for cellular reception or go to the town hall to connect to their wifi (as they have a generator). Also, there can be the potential for a few ants and spiders in the house.
