Domus Laeta can only be rented exclusively and in its entirety, with the cost always referring to the full 28-bed capacity, even for smaller groups. The space Domus Laeta is a historic residence dating back to the 1600s, located in the Cilento National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, in the small village of Giungano — essentially Paestum — in the province of Salerno. South-facing, it offers a captivating view stretching from the valley to the sea, with Capri and the Amalfi Coast on the horizon. It still preserves its original 17th-century structure: watchtowers, arrow slits along the walls, stables, mangers, an olive press, cellars, and ancient bread ovens. In the spacious and panoramic garden, the old water collection basin beside the natural spring well has been transformed into a pool with hydromassage. Domus Laeta can be described as a villa, agriturismo, B&B, hotel, holiday home or even a small hamlet, but it has always remained a family-run property, with members of the same family present for five centuries. Belonging since its origins to an aristocratic family, it preserves precious memories in its furnishings, objects, historical archives, and an exquisite library containing about two thousand rare and ancient volumes. Wedding receptions become a wonderful experience for guests, who can move between the indoor spaces — two elegant halls on the main floor and a hall adjacent to the ancient courtyards, accommodating around 100 seated guests — and the outdoor areas, including the poolside, the lawn with fruit trees, and the large grape pergola. Every corner offers a glimpse of rare beauty. It is also helpful to know that an ancient restored church is located practically adjacent to the property. Guest access Mrs. Camilla Aulisio, owner and descendant of the family as well as organizing the catering can also, times permitting, give cooking lessons including one on "Neapolitan Aristocratic Cuisine". The complete course includes 4 lessons of three hours, each lesson gives the opportunity to learn a complete Menu from appetizer to dessert. The cost per person for a lesson is 50 euros for a minimum of 6 people. The cooking school is usually combined with visits to companies that produce mozzarella, wine and more. We are also proposing the whole structure, including the 10 bedrooms and all the rooms for "Fairytale Weddings". We also take care of all the necessary organizations. Other things to note The Domus Laeta is an ideal place for refined receptions. It enjoys a beautiful view even from the outside spaces. In the garden, the stone pool with the fall of water and the infinity edge creates an evocative atmosphere both day and night. Under the vine trellis from which you can see the valley, tables can be placed, which will enjoy the magnificent panorama. The catering is by our chefs.
