The space River Run Retreat is the most up river house available to rent; it's halfway between the State Part and Rodgers park. The water is clear and the nature is abundant. River Run Retreat on the Weeki Wachee River, provides a once in a lifetime opportunity for those who want a unique getaway. Here you will find the perfect place to relax, see manatees, fish, swim, kayak, and visit awesome local spots including Weeki Wachee Springs State Park with a live mermaid show! You will find our house has a rustic feel with a modern touch. There is plenty of space with compact bedding, a fully equipped kitchen (with a vita-mix blender, espresso maker, waffle maker, crockpot, and flat top griddle- perfect for pancake breakfast), cable TV, Wi-Fi, a balcony and a deck. Being located directly on the river allows you the leisure to just hang out with friends and family & provides direct access to the river. We love manatees. We love mermaids. We love nature. Once we found this haven, we fell in love and just had to create a retreat to share with you and your loved ones. Please take care of the house, the river, and the wildlife, and enjoy these precious moments of downtime and while we have cable and Wi-Fi, we recommend you take this time to unplug and reconnect with each another and Mother Nature. Relax on the deck watching the wide variety of fish, manatees and kayakers year-round. If you’re feeling adventurous, our dock provides easy access into the 72-degree water. Life jackets, kayaks and snorkel gear are provided. Be safe, the swift 3 mile/hour current can be challenging! Always bring a life jacket and whistle while kayaking on the river; it's the law. We promise to strive to make this the most special place and getaway for you. If there is anything we can do to enhance your stay, please let us know. We are always making upgrades and improvements, so you have the best experience possible. I bought this house because my love for the river. Our goal is to share this experience with vacation rental community and we want you to have an awesome time, but we do have some rules that must be followed to keep this part of the river and community pristine and tranquil. NO LARGE GATHERINGS. NO PARTIES. 10 P.M. QUIET TIME. NO LOUD MUSIC. NO SCREAMING OR YELLING. NO PARKING ON THE STREET. 3 CARS MAXIMUM IN THE DRIVEWAY. NO GOING ON NEIGHBORS DOCK OR YARDS. This is a small residential neighborhood and letting the residents enjoy the peace and quiet of the river is important to us. If you are planning a large gathering or party, please choose a house down river. If the neighbors call because of noise, you may be asked to leave the property. If you park in the street your car will be towed. Also do not leave on exterior flood lights as they are very bright and keep the neighbors up. Surveillance Devices At River Run Retreat, our guests’ privacy is very important to us. For the safety and security of our guests, neighbors, and property, six (6) exterior security cameras are installed around the outside of the home. There are no cameras or recording devices inside the home or in any private indoor or outdoor areas. The cameras monitor only the exterior areas of the property, including the driveway, street, entrances, kayak area, riverfront, and surrounding shoreline. Cameras are used only for security, safety, verifying compliance with the reservation (such as registered guest count, vehicles, and unauthorized parties), and to assist in the event of emergencies or property damage. Ring security decals are displayed around the property. Camera Locations: * Front Pole Camera #1 – Faces the driveway and street. * Front Pole Camera #2 – Faces the front of the house. * Main Door Ring Doorbell Camera – Faces the river and rear entrance. The doorbell button does not notify anyone when pressed. * Shed Camera – Monitors the kayak storage area. * Roof Camera (Southwest Corner) – Monitors the shared cove. * Roof Camera (Southeast Corner) – Monitors the upriver shoreline. Thank you for considering our special hideaway. Guest access you have the whole place but please make sure you do not block the whole river while enjoying the dock. Other things to note Important Notice: No Pets Allowed Please be advised that this property is strictly no pets. If a pet is found on the premises, the following actions will be taken: you will be asked to leave and an additional $250 fee will be charged for unapproved pets. If you are traveling with pets, we do have pet-friendly houses available. Please contact us for more information. We kindly ask that you respect this policy to ensure a pleasant stay for all guests. Please note, we provide a starter amount of consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, and other basic supplies for your convenience at the start of your stay. any damages or missing items neeed to be reported immediately to ensure they are replaced or repaired for the next guest. do not leave anything in the water overnight. return all outdoor equipment to its proper home after each use.
