The house is located on a hill on the outskirts with beautiful views of nature. Surrounded by the "Blue Eyes" of the Eifel, the Pulvermaar, the Holzmaar, the Gemündener Maar, the Schalkenmehrener Maar, the Weinfelder Maar, you can closely follow the traces of the volcanic eruptions in and around Strohn. Nature lovers and athletic ambitious come at a stay in Strohn at their expense. Short walks in the Strohner Switzerland on the stream of the Alf or the adjacent valleys, but also extended trips on the Eifelsteig or the Maare-Moselle-Radweg along the old railway line from Daun to Wittlich are possible. The Pulvermaar is located about 2 km from Strohn and invites in the summer for bathing fun in a natural outdoor pool. From Strohn you can reach the Moselle in 30 minutes (about 20 km).
