Coeden Afal

Description

Nestled on a 200-acre former dairy farm, Tanylan Farm is a unique and scenic holiday destination situated between the Gower Peninsula and Pembrokeshire in the heart of South West Wales. Tanylan Farm provides the perfect base for you to explore the beauty and magic of the area. We have a range of homely and tastefully restored luxury cottages and barns, along with a caravan park. The space Originally named Danylan, this traditional longhouse once served both farmer and livestock from the early 16th century until it was later converted into workers accommodation. It was more recently restored to provide three high quality holiday cottages with all the amenities you could need in a home away from home. Coeden Afal is the middle of these three cottages and was given its name due to the apple tree in the front garden. On the ground floor guests are welcomed by the log burning stove in an impressive fireplace, a smart TV and free wifi. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, glassware, and cooking accessories. A dining area is also located in the kitchen. On the first floor is a large master bedroom with a king bed. There is also a single day bed with a single trundle underneath, meaning this room can comfortably sleep 4 people. There is a twin room with two single beds. The bathroom has a washbasin, toilet, and shower over a bath. The cottage has ample parking to the side of the longhouse and an enclosed rear garden with seating, hot tub and BBQ. A pizza oven is available on request. The enclosed front garden has a small table and chairs, making a lovely spot for morning coffee or evening wine. You will also be able to relax in our swim pond and sauna. We are child friendly with stair gates, travel cots, baby baths, potty, highchair and kids’ crockery. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Dogs are not allowed to be left alone, or in sleeping areas or on any furniture. Coeden Afal is perfect for any time of year. A cosy place to retreat to in the winter or a great base for your summer adventures. One of the biggest draws of Wales is the coastline. Whether you decide to relax on the beach with an ice cream, walk to coastal path, or be more adventurous and have a go at surfing or coasteering, our beaches are well worth a visit. Wales also has some fantastic castles, waterfalls, golf courses, museums, wildlife and even a few mountains! Guest access Guests have access to the whole property.
